I think that 30 mins 3 times a week is more than acceptable . whats the point in saying you will do 2 hours 6 days a week when its not going to be maintainable. Do what you can- I lost all my weight by watching my intake and running 20-30 mins a day ... Diet and weight loss is more about what your eating and drinking…

SO I LOVE THIS THREAD ! it makes me feel normal ! Mine are ... Hating rest days and making sure i walk everywhere on that day ! Hate being ill because i will miss working out too much. I get cranky if i havent done my workout for the day. When random social events pop up that ruin my routine!

If you are eating the calories mfp has reccomended for you then you are already eating at a deficit .So even if you were to eat some/all of your exercise cals back you would still be at a deficit .

I personally do not like Ripped in 30 ... I have tried it a few times but everytime my back suffers .. i ahve gone through it slowly to ensure my form has been correct .. but i get nothing but pain from thsi woek out - weird as I love all of JM's dvd's!

How interesting .. I have done several rounds of the shred and lost inches ... I have also done 6 wk 6 pack ...thats a good waist burner! whilst jillian has a straight up and down figure i think she is tiny in real life so dont let that discourage you:)

Thanks everyone!!! i have four jillian dvd's and I LOVE HER! but became a bit bored so i decided to join a gym and make use of the weights and machines... but from the sounds of these posts maybe i should go back to jillian....i did feel firmer when i was using the dvd's... il check out the links you guys posted :)

Im giving up tomato ketchup- i have it on everything .. so it will be a realy sacrafice for me! and hopefully an improvement to my diet ! Also as I am catholic i should really be having any treats during the fasting period..

I think that he probably didnt think and just thought he was doing nice. My husband bought me a massive box of ferreo rocher chocolates.. but i know i eat in moderation so i can have one or two a week. 60 calories for one cookie isnt too bad and i reckon you could eat a coupl on a weekend.
