  • I'd like to join Shape Shifters again!
  • Shapeshifters for me please!
  • Is it too late to join? I did my weigh-in yesterday, and could put that as my starting weight. :)
  • Looks tasty - and thanks for the tip about garlic! (I like a good garlicly punch!)
  • Dark chocolate is a classic. But, I'll often have plain yogurt with some fruit or low calories maple syrup (I like Lakanto's best). I've also recently been making some desserts from this "healthy" dessert website. Not all of the recipes are low calorie, but if you make these blondies with a low calorie sugar substitute,…
  • I love canned tuna. (I can tolerate other canned fish, but don't crave them.) One thing I have on frequent rotation is healthified smokey tuna dip. One 8oz package of cream cheese, two cans of light tuna (drained), garlic powder, salt, liquid smoke, and Worcestershire sauce. It makes more of a spread than a dip, but I…
  • (And as expensive as groceries are these days - frozen veggie meals also seem like an inexpensive way to get some healthy meals!)
  • I like lamb a lot - the flavor is great, and I have zero issue with "gamey" flavor. I'm no lamb novice - this is the third half lamb I have bought (aside from grocery store lamb). I've had lamb chops at restaurants cooked in the traditional ways, and although they aren't my favorite cut, they are fine - tender and moist,…
  • Me too please!
  • Agreed with the above that finding the right activity is key. I find elliptical machines to be soul-sucking, hate being the uncoordinated one in group fitness classes, but discovered that I love rowing and weightlifting (which doubles as cardio and resistance). Others love ellipticals and live for group classes - the point…
  • Thanks for the advice. Thought I'd give an update. I do think it probably is a bit of dehydration, but definitely also a little tendonitis, especially around my upper legs and hips. I've been sticking to walking and stretching this week and it's improving. I've been doing this short strechy yoga for the past few days, and…
  • I'm a little flexible on the reps and sets, but here's the "normal". Unless otherwise marked, it's all 5 reps, 5 sets. I usually either increase the reps before upping weight or decrease the reps after increasing weight, depending on how I feel about it on a given day. I don't increase the weight on a set schedule anymore…
  • I generally prefer the taste of whey. Currently loving Iconic Vanilla Bean - 20g protein and 90 calories per serving. No added sugar, sweetened with monkfruit. I've tried pea protein before (Orgain Vanilla Bean) and just couldn't deal with the taste, which is a shame. I do enjoy pea crisps as a snack, though. They have a…
  • The kinds I'm getting while at rest are cramp-like. The kinds I get while working out are also kinda cramp-like, but like a charley horse cramp, contracting and holding without letting go for a bit.
  • This would probably be a good idea all around. It's been a couple years since I had any body work! No changes in supplements. I haven't heard anything about creatine. I'll read up on it - though sounds like maybe best to wait until this current weirdness passes? I do a bit of stretching, but could probably improve there. I…
  • Hmmm... could be dehydration. I'm one of odd folks who really likes water, so I generally drink a lot. But on reflection, it may have been a little less in the past few weeks than normal. Low electrolytes seems less likely b/c I add electrolyte powder to my water a couple times a week. I could add more ... can you…
  • Hi - I'd love to join the team!
  • What's the three ingredient cookie recipe?
  • Yogurt! Usually for dessert, but occasionally beefed up for meal. Recently I've been loving greek yogurt with reduced sugar apple butter and sprinkle of granola and ton of cinnamon. Yum.
  • @kt9pk2xwwc If you're eating that few calories and are doing that much exercise, and are not losing weight - it's time to see a doctor. I tried for years to lose weight but couldn't lose more than 10 lbs, but finally got treatment for a hormonal disorder. Now I've lost 50lbs so far in less than 6 months doing the same…
  • Actually - I just got it to finally show the correct weight lost - by updating the *style* of the ticker. Now it shows both the new style and the correct weight. I'd really like to find a way to fix the underlying problem though, as manually changing the style every time I loose more weight will get kinda old.
  • @Jean I've already reached out but got no response @ninerbuff Everywhere I can find a starting weight, it is set the same. I tried deliberately changing my starting weight from the ticker and the weight lost listed on the ticker didn't update.
  • Thanks! I'll give this a try with my next batch!
  • Almost lost my pants on a walk yesterday! My keys and phone were in one pocket, and I discovered they were pulling them a lot farther down than they should have been!!! Guess it's time to retire those pants....
  • Loads of great ideas, here! I am another who cooks boules in a preheated dutch oven, which does the steaming for me. But, I'm planning on moving on to other shapes, so these other steaming methods will be helpful. @enlightenme3 - cranberry walnut sound amaaaaazing, can you share how much you add?
  • Amazing transformation! Congratulations - I'm glad your hard work and perseverance paid off!
  • Hi - would love to join Fit Force!
  • Thank you all for sharing these experiences! We're so often told "it's not possible". (I was actually told that by a dietician...)
