Sleep! I've lost just over 30lbs through diet and exercise and I have noticed a dramatic increase in my quality of sleep. In turn it makes life in general so much better.16

Today I noticed a teeny, tiny keyhole of thigh gap. 🥹20

Ran 10 miles on mountain trails a couple days ago. It's taken me almost 2 years to get to this point, and it's the farthest I have been able to run since I quit running 9 years ago. I have been feeling a little down on myself lately even though I'm at my goal weight, so seeing my fitness progress is really encouraging!17

Okay, this might sound like a weird NSV but here goes....my husband and I have decided to try for a baby. I'm 38 years old and 6 months ago I would not have dreamed that was possible. I have fibromyalgia and the pain and exhaustion was so bad when I was 41 pounds heavier that running after a toddler would have been impossible. Honestly, I thought that part of my life was over. I thought a lot of my life was over and that's a really bad thing at only 38 years old! This weightloss has literally given me a new lease on life. I am 11 pounds from my goal weight (164 pounds at 5'7"). 164 might seem like a high weight for a female of 5 foot 7 inches but I truly do have a muscular build....I was a Navy firefighter for years. This was the weight I was when I left for Navy boot camp in 2001. I am currently at a weight I was when active duty. I started this weightloss journey at 217 pounds and am now 175.6 pounds. I will likely bring my goal weight down a little more in order to give me a little buffer on that inevitable baby weight. I know, I just put a lot of information about myself out there but I didn't see this NSV coming and it has been a HUGE motivation to lose these last 11 pounds and then some. This NSV puts my life on a totally different course than I had ever expected. Oh and, my doc did an EKG on me the other day and told me my heart was slow. This scared me so she clarified that that was a good thing...she called it an "athletes heart". She is also way on board with our baby mission and she told me I look amazing. I honestly was bracing for her to tear into me for considering a baby at my age but she shocked me when she told me, "Good for you!". I'm still waiting on blood results to see how much I have improved. But my doc does not seem concerned at all. 6 months ago I wouldn't have dreamed any of this was possible.33

I took full body measurements as I am moving towards historybounding my wardrobe. For the first time in 20 years my waist is smaller than my bust and hips. This is a move in a good direction!22

Weighed in and was up a pound but my waist measurement was down a half inch. One step at time.14

My NSV was the other day at the Dr's. I had to go for repeat BP & cholesterol (LDL) check. BP was good, but don't have the results of the blood test. Anyway, I don't feel like I am doing that well lately, not really losing much. But I have been walking & doing some senior exercises. The NSV is that she told me to keep doing what you are...you are thriving!! (nice to hear at almost 73!)16

this was accidental repeat!1

Just got my blood work back! My glucose went from 113 six months ago to 96. My cholesterol went from 230 down to 188. My creatinine went from 1.1 to .9. Now this is the thing that had me most concerned... my kidney function went from 59.1 to 84 EGFR! I'm healed! I'm not at risk for diabetes, I'm not at risk for a heart attack or strokes, and my kidneys aren't failing. This exceeds my hopes even. But I'm not done yet. Who knew testing normal could be this much of a relief. Six months ago I was obese, pushing pre-diabetic, and I was on path to having a heart attack or stroke in the next few years...I was also obese. I am none of those things now. Praise God!19

Almost lost my pants on a walk yesterday! My keys and phone were in one pocket, and I discovered they were pulling them a lot farther down than they should have been!!! Guess it's time to retire those pants....13

I’m in a size medium in my workout pants. I started this in the same brand in a 2x.
2nd NSV is I got a rowing machine for my birthday (46 today!!) from my husband. It came with a 30 day IFIt trial and the IFit also goes on my treadmill. So their are walking tours again on my treadmill I had no problem keeping up with the running parts today on the “ghost tour” one…
It went so well that it’s actually making me rethink if I should be putting a little more pep in my step… maybe I should be jogging or running? Last time I tried was about 70 pounds ago. Then my problem with couch to 5k was in my feet hurting. I’m kind of hopeful that maybe I’m light enough I could start jogging now. I was going to wait until I hit a healthy BMI to attempt it.15 -

With very little pre-training, I participated in a 5K yesterday. Way at the back of the pack but did it. At the end they had random prize drawings, and I won the grand prize! A massage! Yay!! And surprisingly, not sore today.15
