    I took a beginner's pole fitness class for the first time yesterday, and I was *not* feeling confident. I've been stagnating on my weight training and wasn't feeling especially strong that afternoon. Imagine my surprise when I took to it like a duckling takes to water - I guess all those hours on the weights and in yoga gave me the foundation of strength, balance, and control that you need to maneuver on a pole. At the end of the class, I climbed all the way up on my first try! I felt like a million bucks!

    So jealous! I wish pole dancing classes were offered close to me, I always thought it would be fun to try!
