I upped calorie intake from 1200-1500 net to 1800-2000 net approximately 2 weeks ago. I am exactly 2lbs up since then and it wont shift. Hiya Lady, yes its only been a week but a whole 2lbs????!!!!! I definitely have not eaten anywhere near 7000 calorie so I am not quite sure what it is. I'll give it another week and see how I get on. I just feel like I have such a long way to go that 2lbs really puts a dent in my hard work so far. :0(

That makes perfect sense beach-chelle....I might try doing that. My calorie intake zig zags a bit so I can hit 1400 some days after eating all my exercise calories back. I am afraid of putting on weight though if I up my calorie intake too much and then I am even more afraid of hitting a plateau!!! What to do?????????

Oh lordy, I've just started on Depo!!!!! I really hope I don't have weight gain. On it about three weeks now. I will have to be super careful with my calorie intake, I reckon.

Are you eating your exercise calories back or even partially eating them back? If not, you have a major daily deficit on the days that you exercise and this could be a reason why you weight loss is at a standstill.

Thank you for all the replies guys.....I've just had a re-check of the figures and my daily allowance seems to be set at 1370! I changed my goals mid way through my day yesterday and I had 350 exercise calories added and I think that's where the 1720 totals for the day came from. :blushing: This seems to make more sense…

Dan....I am 5.6 and am staying in around 1200 odd calories a day and exercising 6 days a week (7 if I can). I haven't plateaued (yet) and hope I don't so do you think I should up my calorie intake?

Ok, so I shouldn't really swim either. I usually do continous lenghts of the pool for 30 mins when I swim with very little rest, maybe about 1-2 mins over the 30 mins and then head to the steam room for 10 mins. I usually go for a swim to give myself a break from the gym. LOL Sooooooooo, I shouldn't do any exericse today…
