I would say that if you are using 1/4 cup dry then a full cup of water should be fine, and microwave it on ehigh for about 10 min. you will see the little kernel "pops' and a little white bit sticks out - when that happens it's cooked.. 1/4 cup uncooked should yield about 1 cup cooked. as for recipes - just google quinoa…

I love my Olives - espcially the ones stuffed with pimento..... can quite happily eat a whole packet one my own. Will need to keep a sharp eye on the cals :)

Yes - Ibuprofen can make you retain water espcially if taken continuously for a few days. I was suffering with migraines and was taking myprodol and I swelled up - and went to dr and she told me its the ibporfen in the tabs. Stop taking it unless you absolutely have to. the weight (water) will go away very quickly

My suggestion... swop your pizza at lunch time for a helathier option - sans all the cheese. portion control at meal time and unfortunately you are going to have to cut out some "bad" stuff to lose the weight. eating less and less is not always the answer... you need to be eating helathy nutritious food and having at least 5 to 6 SMALL meals in a day. Make sure you have some nutritious snacks with you at all times for those times when you are busy or travelling - like a packet of nuts etc... What i have found works best for me…

I agree with maybe starting to cook together - and you can also be senaky about getting his veggies into meals... espcailly meals like cottage pie/ hot pots - they don't have to be unhealthy. If there are veggies that he won't eat - try steaming them, then puree'ing them and adding them to help thicken the meat sauce…

Hi I think weight watchers is awesome. I am doing it and I have lost 3.4kgs (7lbs) so far. I find that logging my food on MFP and watching my WW points is wroking very well together. By making sure I hit my 1200 cal mark in MFP - I am also reaching my points target in WW. Good luck :-)
