Wowzers! Way to go!

Ok, so the reason she eats more on workout days is because her TDEE is 3348. I read that if you are morbidly obsese you can reduce 30%, but that it's better to do 20% so I figured allowing her more calories on work out days would be a good thing. Maybe that's not a good idea. She does eat healthy at work; she prepares all…

I am thinking that she must have a really slow metabolism or maybe a thyroid issue? Back in 2008 she was watching what she ate and dropped 30 pounds in like 6-8 weeks. She has her calories set to, 2200, 30% than TDEE and eats 500 extra on workout days.

she's allergic to: potatoes carrots- all root veggies celery apples pears peaches nectarines raw almonds/nuts this is what we know of anyway. As long as the above are cooked she is ok, it's only in the raw state that she has a problem.

we eat all sorts of things for dinner, but her breakfast and lunch choices tend to be the same foods since she works in a kitchen (her job allows the employees to eat free) and tries to go for the healthiest foods. She is allergic to most raw fruits and veggies so it makes it more difficult... I didn't think it really…

check this out: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/937709-in-place-of-a-road-map-ver-3-0 I lost 87 pounds and gained back 15, all while eating 1200 cals. and working out. I found the link above and started eating 1800 cals a day (sometimes more) and the fat is totally disappearing, as well as weight. I have more…

Make sure when you eat you have a carb and protein together, even better is a carb, fat and protein so your blood sugar stays level. I try hard to stay away from sugary, processed foods and low fat crap. Low fat and fat free just means more sugar and processing. Artificial sweeteners should be avoided as well. cocoa…

yeah, I do realize that it's not possible for all people. It makes me really sad, too. I recently watched the documentary A Place at the Table and I could have cried the entire time.

The topic is Favorite HEALTHY cereal so I think some of us assumed you were looking for HEALTHY. Guess not! :blushing:

all boxed cereal is bad or you. Try homemade granola or steel cut oats.

1 serving of dried apricots a day.

   I can't stop... been there!

I am the master of constipation (unfortunately). I tried everything, including laxatives, but only got temporary relief. I recently found that 1 serving of dried apricots a day keeps things moving! You wouldn't believe how happy I am that I can FINALLY go!

I try and eat as clean as possible. Whole foods, organic and grassfed/pastured meats. The better the food you put into your body the better you body will feel.

I lost 87 pounds eating 1200 cals a day and exercising 5+ days a week. After some time I started putting on weight and gained 15 pounds back. My Dr. told me that I no woman needs more that 1200 calories a day, even when exercising. I was so frustrated because I was lifting weights and and pushing myself harder and harder…

If you can afford to work with a trainer you should. I would in a heartbeat! I am at Anytime and they have single sessions available for purchase. I just joined the Hollywood Fit Club through anytime for $20.00. It goes for 12 weeks and during the competition you get to meet with a trainer every 2 weeks to weigh in and get…

not all foods that contain aspartame and MSG are labeled either, like milk. It tastes so good because they alter it to make it that way! If I eat a potato chip I can guarantee you that I wil eat 3/4 of the bag. I have no self control when it comes to certain foods... which is why I don't buy them.
