DO NOT let a number on a scale DEFINE you!. How are you feeling? Have you been good to yourself. Are you exercising and eating right? How do your clothes feel? Don't let that scale control your mood. The number on the scale could be different for so many reasons that have nothing to do with what you are eating. Your mood…

I do low carb Monday -Saturday and on Sunday I eat my normal foods. I am mindful of what I eat that day. Breakfast is my biggest meal that day. I exercise 6 days a weeks for 30 minutes, high intensity. I have found this works for me after trying many other lifestyles. I feel good and I can see and my family can see the…

Don't define your success by a number on the scale. How do you feel? How do your clothes feel? You could be losing inches. Depending on what you are doing you could be losing fat and gaining muscle. Don't be discouraged. If you know you are doing what you should be doing to change your lifestyle, diet & exercise than don't…

M, T, TH, F, Sat 5am for boot camp, love it!! Weds is 5am for the gym. I also have a dress that I bought that is hanging near my mirror so I can see it everyday. I also don't let the scale dictate who I am anymore. If I am doing what I am supposed to be, eating right, sleeping, my clothes feel good (and getting looser) and…

I use the ready made ones. I love it. Just remember they are meal replacements so watch your other calories. Good Luck

instead of straight running you could do interval training. It is 30 seconds of running as hard as you can with a 60 second recovery for the amount of time you choose. I usually do that for 20-25 minutes and I sweat more than if I just did a walk or continuous running. Good luck

Don't think of it as a cheat day. This day is still part of your lifestyle. I do the same thing on Sundays. My husband and I go out every Sunday morning for breakfast and on those days if I want to eat something I normally would not than that is the day that I do it. i still count my calories that day. My husband and I…

try decreasing your calorie intake and increasing your exercise for about a week and see if that helps. I agree that you need to change things up.
-
First of all Relax. Most of us come to the same realization from pictures. You can do this. Just take it day by day, moment by moment. Make sure you log your food and then start slowly moving and then increase that. You will see results but you got invest the time in yourself. You are worth it!

Anything "skinny" on there menu is worth is as long as you don't do Venti. The skinny peppermint mocha grande is only 130 calories. Yummy!!!

good for you, have my third 5k in 3 weeks and then one on Thanksgiving Day!!!!
-
i did c25k also, and I wanted to quit the first day because my body wanted to keep telling my brain that I could not run. Well needless to say I keep following the program and I ran my first 5k 11 weeks after starting. Even though I tend to not get enough running in as I would like...i love to run and I know I can do it…

I agree who wants to be on a diet their whole life! I want to eat want I want when I want it. But I know that I cannot do that everyday or at every meal. I need to make better choices but that does not mean that I cannot have snacks or junk food. I also know that I have to keep my body in motion if I want to feel good. The…

Good for you, I did my first 5K last year, it was awesome. A year later and you still are running faster than me...way to go!
-
for the 2nd year in a row I will spend Thanksgiving doing a Turkey trot (5K) then eat lunch/dinner with my family. Don't really eat a Christmas dinner. New Year's it is usually dinner and a movie with my family.

Great job, your look awesome & your words are inspiring!!!
-
what is the truth about eating your exercise calories? Should you or not. I was always told that the choice is up to you?

First met when I was 14 (but he don't remember). He is my best friend's brother and when he went off to the Army it was his job to look after me...anyway long story short we have been together 16 years, married 14, he is my prince charming and everything else I prayed for!!!
