This sounds much more believable!!! I can't believe how many people gain less than 10 pounds or even lose throughout pregnancy. Is it because they were obese to begin with? I am assuming so since the baby has to actually weigh something when it comes out!

... and keep in mind that the rapid weight loss after giving birth is a combination of the baby and lots of water weight! I had a lot of swelling.

I went from about 145 up to 207 when I checked in at the hospital. My son is 7 weeks old now. I am down to 175 right now, so I have 30 pounds to lose. I was so hungry constantly while pregnant and my appetite definitely dropped off after delivery. I tend to eat more while at home with the baby out of boredom more than…

Very useful post. I am suspicious of any exercise that burns 800-900 calories an hour. Almost nothing is that good and if it was, I wouldn't be able to do it!

Glad to know I am not the only one! I think it is because they have gained weight and their libido goes down. Just gotta keep at it. No good answer for this one.

I work 12 hour nights, 7 on, 7 off. On the weeks I work , I will either try to do about 20 minutes worth before taking a shower and getting ready for work, or do 20 minutes as soon as I get home and then go to sleep. I usually only work out about 3 times a week on my work days though. I try to do something every day when I…

I try to stay at my calorie goal and exercise. I don't think its good to completely give up carbs (good or bad) but when you are on limited calories (1,200 for me) you have to make good carb choices to make the most of your food or you will end up eating empty calories and still be hungry. No matter what your diet consists…

The food is not good and too much preservatives (salt). Eat close to the earth (veggies, fruits, meat, etc) and try to avoid processed food if possible!

Awesome! I am sure you will love it.

I agree, planning is key!

1200 is not alot of calories. If you set your goal for about 1 pound per week, then your results would probably be easier to maintain. But remember that the more you exercise, the more calories you can take it!

My goal is 125 which was my weight in college. I am about 145 right now but not very muscular so looking to build that and make healthier food choices.

You can also search for this juicer on amazon.com and probably find it much easier than in the store. I would think even a used or refurbised one would be great since they are so durable.

I bought the Breville JE98XL Juice Fountain Plus and it works really well. Retails for around $150, but if you coupons from Bed Bath and Beyond, you can get it much cheaper, up to 20% off with the right coupon. If your BBB store doesn't have it, they will usually find one and ship it to you for free. This juicer is awesome…

Walking to work it awesome! I wish I could! Not to mention it helps decrease your carbon footprint. I have always believed that there is no wasted exercise. Remember that the point of exercise is exercise.....not weight loss! The body can still benefit from any exercise even if you don't lose weight. I work in cardiology…
