  • In my eyes, any "victory" that comes with weight loss, but is not related to the scale is a NSV.
  • My main choices (as I've been in the same situation), in no particular order: 1.) Consignment shops 2.) Good Will/Salvation Army/ "nonprofit thrift stores" 3.) Clearance/sale racks (at any store) 4.) There's a "buy/sell/trade" facebook group for my area, where people list stuff they don't want for pretty cheaply. I bought…
  • Make a point every hour to get up and walk (especially if your business has stairs you can use, walk up and down them a time or two).
  • I just bought the Jillian Michaels vanilla one from Walmart last night for about $10. I figured I'd start with a smaller container before I go all-in. One of my friends suggested it to me.
  • I'm the same as above, with the exception of starting at 181.4 and would like to be in the 130-140 range. Not sure exactly where I want to be, but somewhere under 140 but more than 130. As of this morning, I'm down 8.8 pounds, which isn't bad :) But I have my settings to lose 1 lb a week, and I don't always follow to the…
  • I'm not in college, but I'm 22 and gained a lot of weight after graduating high school because I had bad eating habits, but a very active job (even lost weight on that job while keeping my terrible eating habits...). However, I'm working on losing it. I've got about 40-50 pounds I'd like to lose. Feel free to add me if…
  • Sw: 181.4 Starting Size: 13's in juniors, which were big and probably 12s in womens CW: 175.2 Current Size: 11/12 Hoping for:(been here before) GW:130-140 Goal Size: 7s (maybe 5s)
  • Pretty much this for me. However, I wore some 5s and 6s, but mostly 7s and some 8s.
  • Thanks for your response. I've actually been watching diet and exercising, but thought maybe the 24DC would "jump start" my progress.
  • I have to agree with this. I used to hate my calves because they're so big (and make buying any shoes that come over my calves a p.i.t.a.), but I love them, especially when wearing skirts and heels! They're not super-defined, but they're mine, and I love them :) They look strong.
  • I'm another one that's for weight lifting. I love the changes my body has gone through in just the 5 short weeks I've been weight lifting. My biceps are more defined (no longer "flabby"), my triceps are on their way there. I just feel like I look better.
  • Feel free to add me. I'm 5'3 (maybe 5'4?) and I currently weigh around 177, looking to be around 130-140, so looking to lose 37-47 pounds). I've already lost 4.4 (as of this morning). I usually work out around 6 days a week (sometimes less, depending on the week), but I always keep an eye on my diet.
