The pill has not been conclusively proven to cause weight gain, so it shouldn't hinder weight loss. I went on the pill when I was 16, partly in hopes it would make me fill out. <<no such luck. That being said, here's an interesting article: www.livestrong.com/article/94581-lose-weight-pill/

Aussies make me melt.

Before, I generally eat about 200 calories, complex carbs, nuts, etc. After, generally a decently large meal with plenty of protein. Here is an interesting article on the subject: http://www.fitnessmagazine.com/recipes/healthy-eating/nutrition/best-workout-foods/

You are most definitely not eating enough, especially for the amount you exert yourself. On days I try to net about 1800 just to maintain, and I have a small frame which means you probably need about that to lose (Remember: every body is different. There is no magic formula). That being said, a net of 1000 calories a day…

I used to work at Baskin Robbins in high school, and I would go next door to Chipotle to pick up lunch. Burrito, chips and guac and a double scoop of ice cream for dessert was over 2500 calories (and that was one a three meals a day). I had this several times a week. How I have been underweight my whole life is beyond me.

Johnny Rocket's veggie burgers are beasts. Or scorpion burger from native foods. Always eat my burgers with chips inside... love the extra crunch.

Typical. The original BAMF (with big bro).

Be proud that you're doing it the right way. Slow and steady does indeed win the race; you're becoming a more healthy person and strengthening your body rather than giving it a toxic crap cocktail to screw with it until it starts to break down. You're doing the right thing the right way; you shouldn't be jealous, you…

I don't restrict, so I don't really get the concept of cheating. One of my favorite purely unhealthy meals is a personal pizza, mac and cheese and a brownie with some ice cream. I have it a few times a week. Carbs are my favorite food group.

Ask where she got that incredibly beautiful dress!

Acg- I want that cookie in my mouth. Thanks. Meag- Always love hearing what you have to say about eating; you're dead on. Deprivation leads to failure; just learn to be in touch with your body and the rest will fall into place. Pocketmole- That soup looks incredible; definitely going to have to try that! Mercina- YUM! You…

Literally from the past day (and not even half of my food is pictured). I eat a lot. Sorry folks. New addiction: Salmon and cream cheese. Savory oats with egg This cheese to mac ratio is getting a little out of hand. Protein cheesecake #1 Protein cheesecake #2 (because I was baking one already, figured I'd make one for…

Chris: Your Valentine's day looks delicious. Where'd the taster basket come from? I want to eat it. Meag: I'm not sure about the macros; they're probably not great- I would say probably pretty low in fat, but also decently low in protein (the fake crab only has about 5g protein in a full half cup). Definitely worth trying…

Bond- stir fry looks fantastic; I've been on a stir fry kick lately. I love that there's literally no way to screw it up. One of my FAVORITE meals in the world that my mom made all the time when I was younger, best made with soba noodles; I didn't plan ahead and didn't have the pineapple, but it's honestly the best meal. I…

Super easy and delicious! I guess you could just toss in whatever you have on hand, or whatever filling you like in sushi. I threw in a bunch of veggies and fish with some salt, rice vinegar and sugar. I have a whole bag of nori, so I have a feeling there will be a lot of experimentation with these! :D

Meag- Smoothie looks amazing! Chris- Amazing eats, as always. You remind me why oats are the best. Howl- Kumara chips look phenomenal; I love anything burnt. Some recent eats: Boring but attractive salad Delicious and incredibly attractive strawberry protein fluff Improv orange marmalade cookies; all eaten in one sitting…

Amazing eats everyone! As always, mine taste much better than they look *grumble* stupid phone camera... :) Lazy day alfredo with way too much cheese, kept adding more because I couldn't taste it, then looked at the bottom of the bowl... pretty much a cup of straight up cheese. No shame, it was delicious. Cookie dough nom,…

Hang out for sure! You're precious.

Cereal of any kind; I can literally eat a box in a sitting if I'm not careful. Any sort of easy carbs will do me in though, pretzels and chips... basically anything that goes "crunch".

It's been so long since I've posted, but I've been silently stalking the thread... I figured I should contribute :) AMAZING meals everyone, thanks for the inspiration! I've been aiming for about 2,000 calories a day, so the low-cal "meals" are generally snacks :P Makeshift Mexican; Veggies and TVP with taco seasoning, sour…

I like men, but you are stunning!

I average about 2,000 calories a day. I eat every 2-3 hours, and when your body gets used to it, you will actually feel hungry on a more regular basis. Make sure you add calorie-dense foods such as nut butters, nuts and seeds, avocado and healthy oils. I'm sure you could stomach a handful of almonds between meals or a…
