If I was losing weight the standard MFP way of 1200 calories but with higher protein (and dropping wheat and starchy carbs and opting for healthier ones) what would my macros be? Can someone help me please and guide me through it.

Yes she gave me this elastic band and I have to do a couple of minutes of gentle stretches with it. It's driving me mad because I seem to have lost a lot of strength in it, for example I can't open a bottle of water. I have to get my son to do it for me! Will look into callanetics.

Thank you for your posts! Decemberchild - do you ever have problems now with your back? I was told that pilates could help strengthen things. I also have bad knees so struggle with jogging :( I so don't want to lose this urge to exercise because then I'll end up back where I was

Thank you I will look at those. I feel like I've been so patient while I was healing but I'm dying to exercise! Which shows how I've changed from where I used to be!

Me too. I'm getting married 30/6/12. I'v hurt my back at the moment (herniated disc) but am still eating the right amount of calories and can't wait to get back to some exercise! Can we start a proper group?

Portion size has always been a problem for me so I find if I use one of the kids plates for me I eat so much less.

Thats what I will have to do. Are there many exercises you have to supplement? I don't like weight rooms at gyms (I feel intimidated) and I prefer to workout at home anyway. Are you doing the diet plan too? Have you noticed any changes yet?

It was something someone on here wrote after watching Biggest Loser USA. Something the trainer said about after 2 days of no exercise everything was undone, It shocked me because thats just like a weekend off. I couldn't bear my hard work to be undone now. Feel better for posting this,

Got a deep root trapped nerve. My Physio strapped me up and won't touch it for now. The pain is unreal and I have to wait to see my GP till 3.40 today to get some stronger pain relief as normal painkillers aren't touching it. Day 5 Week 3 done! I woke up this morning with a horrible twinge in my right boob/shoulder area. Must have a trapped nerve or something. Anyway I debated whether to Rip as I am off Xmas shopping with my mother in law to be, but I know with me missing workouts is a slippery slope so I did it anyway and it still twinges but…

Day 4 Week 3 done! I think JM would kick my butt if she could see me doing these exercises! My form must be terrible but I do quite like Week 3, I am living in fear of Week 4 though!

Day 3 of Week 3 done. had a rest day yesterday. It's always harder after a rest day I find. Still not easy but Level 3 seems to go quicker I think, before I know it I'm on circuit 3!

He sounds lovely and supportive. Would you rather he commented on the weight gain and never mentioned the loss? He no doubt noticed the spring you have in your step now you've lost some weight and how good it makes you feel. Thats all.

I can't have anything sweet because if I do thats it, I will binge. :cry: So I steer clear then my blood sugar is stable and I don't crave sugar. Once I start with sugary stuff I can't stop and then I feel so ill. I think at the moment it helps to know I am working so hard so I don't want to let myself down.
