Beautiful Story.

SAME!! Size 10, 5'3" 165lbs goal weight is 130lbs

Haha! I was thinking the same thing. They must have a lot of time on their hands to troll (and keep trolling) a women's thread.
-
I'm 5'3" and try to stay around 1450/day. I also workout 4-5 days a week. 1200 is way too low for me.

If you're not hungry, don't force yourself. I made that mistake 2 weeks ago (forced myself to eat when I had no appetite and felt "off") and spend the night in the bathroom paying for it. If you're truly ill, the last thing your body needs to food to digest. As the above poster said, just drink plenty of fluids.

@tcunbeliever That was taken over a year ago when I thought I was strong enough to compete in a fitness competition. Once I went off "The Bro Diet" (basically chicken, broccoli, white fish, and asparagus) I gained a bunch of fat. Mix that in with family/friends visiting A LOT more than they ever have, and my sausage body…

Have you guys watched the documentaries "Fed Up" or "That Sugar Film"? It will give you SERIOUS motivation!!

Hi! I'm currently doing a WW + MFP hybrid. I use MFP to log in calories & excersize, but I go to the weekly meetings to hold me accountable. It's working so far! I personally don't find the point system to be helpful. It seems like a "middle man" for calories...just cut out the middle man and count the calories
-
You look so much younger and healthier! Great job and keep going!!
-
Weight loss is rarely linear, here is my graph showing less than a month of logging. My weight goes up and down but the overall trend of the graph is going down, and thats whats important. In fact, I'm two pounds up from yesterday...just 24 hours ago. Our bodies are weird, we just have to roll with it LOL.

Anything high in natural fats, like avocado and nuts- those would be the easiest and healthiest way to eat more calories.
-
Taking rest days are just as important as training days- your body and mind need that time to recover. So yes! It's good that you're taking off!

New York City

I gained 2 lbs since yesterday. I'm trying not to pay too much attention to it because I did eat some salty foods. Movie theater popcorn can be high is sodium- especially with butter, so you're probably retaining water. There are also other factors like the last time you had a bowel movement, and muscle soreness (sore…

I'm a shorty too (5'3") so I know how frustrating it can be that we are allowed fewer calories than most of the people around us. Even if we do a single fun thing (baseball game, theme park, Girls night) and eat one meal off track, it seems to ruin the entire week. Other than seeing an Endocrinologist and testing for the…

I'm also 5'3" and looking to weigh 125-130. Just started back up this week.

Awesome work! Keep going!

HALO TOP ice cream! 250 calories PER PINT! It isn't as creamy as traditional ice cream- have you ever frozen a Wendy's Frosty over night and eaten it the next day? It's kind of like that! It's really good!
-
Amazing! You're my "she"ro!
-
Feel free to friend me! You're doing the right thing. Just remember, its not about perfection, it's about persistence.

Ask your doctor about how many more calories you should be eating at each stage, as far as working out, you can probably continue your normal routine for a while. Once it gets unforgettable, stick with upper body resistance training and low impact cardio (like walking uphill), but again, talk your you Dr. about everything…

Whole bags of Salt and Vinegar chips!

Holy Crap! What a horrible way to live  I hope she recovers at some point.
-
I sympathize. Just take it one day at a time. At least you know the damage you've done, and why. Now all you need to do it hop back on that horse and ride it. No weight loss journey is linear, there will be times you gain, and times you lose. Don't give up! You've dropped 40 pounds already!

I do all my prep for the week on Sunday. The best thing I've found is, whatever you can cook in the oven, do it! When I found out how to cook chicken in bulk in the oven, it was god-sent! It slashed my prep time in half. All my prepped veggies stay fresh in the fridge all week, as long as they are in a good, sealed…

Thank you! I did a couple things to change my body fat; but the two most important are probably my weight training schedule and my protein intake. I am lifting heavy, but at the same time, I was also lifting heavy in the left pic. This time I did more "traditional" weight lifting as opposed to "total body" workouts. I…

Here's mine, both at 147lbs

Wow! You look fantastic! I too, am on my journey to the stage. Working toward my very first competition in Bikini in October. It's the hardest thing I've ever done (as you know).
-
I don't log gum (and I eat a lot of it to keep from snacking) and I don't log the salt I put on my food. I'm scared to see the sodium number go that high.

First of all, congrats on your progress. 25 pounds is a great loss and it shows that you can overcome this obstacle, even without your fiancé's support. I know a little about how you feel, but some things are the opposite- My boyfriend of 4 years is stick thin, he does't need to watch what he eats. He drinks 3 or 4 tallboy…
