  • Tonight I did the elliptical for 60 minutes and when my feet started going numb, I lifted my foot at the top of the rotation - that actually helped. Maybe try that?

  • walmart has biggest loser dvd's for $9! The cheapest I've found. I ended up buying ankle weights that can be tightened to fit around wrists - I think that was a better option for me because my hands get sweaty, this way my hands don't.

  • It makes sense why you shouldn't lose more than 2 lbs in a week. But how on the biggest loser do they lose 12, 15, 20 or more lbs in a week? I wonder if they gain it back? I wonder if it's still considered "safe" for them to be losing so much weight. You know?

  • If you're sweating within the first 3 - 5 minutes (according to health.com) and keep on sweating throughout the workout it's high impact. That's all I know but thought I'd pass it along.

  • Warm liquids to soothe your scratchy throat. I had the head cold thing a few days back... just got to keep going. Don't over do it - but maybe a brisk walk. I know it sounds weird but when I moved I felt less achy. (Plus I kept on the motrin.) Hope you feel better. ***Feel Better Vibes***
