Thigh Exercises?

I've been surfing the net for thigh exercises. So far the only ones that seem to keep coming up are squats and leg lifts. Any suggestions? Maybe something that can be done while watching tv.

If you have a theraband ( resistance band) lie on you back with your legs straight up in the air and the theraband tied around your knees or ankles. Then slowly separate your legs and bring them back together.

squats and leg lifts can be done while watching tv you would just have to get up to do it.0

Get Windsor Pilates Bun & Thigh video. It is amazing! Plus, you can memorize the moves and do them while watching tv.0

Thank you for the suggestions! I do have a resistance band and never thought of using it like that. Thank you so much! And thank you for the website.
I do squats and leg lifts already while watching tv, I wanted to have more to do because they are not as challenging as they first were.
I just googled the Windsor Pilates Bun & Thigh video, that's what I'm looking for! I'm buying it! Thank you so much!

try using weights while doing you squats- then you can work your legs and arms at the same time. What about flutter kicks and moutain climbers?0

What are mountain climbers? I tried looking them up but it bring up mountain climbing stuff. LOL0

Above all else use your breath! Inhale to begin exhale to exhert. Make your abs do the work. This will give your muscles extra work and heat. That way you are getting two exercies in one. Take it from and instructor. You will be sore in more places than one. You can apply this to all of your exercises to get more to your work out. Place your band around your thighs lay on your back. Bring the legs up in table top , soles of feet together. Open and close legs as if a butterfly 10-20 times, exhale open inhale close. Curl up w/hands behind head (do not pull on neck use stomach) to add abdominals, otherwise lie on back if this gets into neck. Then roll to one side lift up your legs off the floor & repeat, next to your stomach pulling in your abs squeezing the buns to lift the bum & take it out of the back repeat & finally to the other side. This attacks the bum as well as the inner/outer thighs! Good Luck & stay out of your back, use your abs to protect your back.0

Thanks for input! I did this today while watching the kids, oh my gosh now my thighs and abs are killing me! That is one heck of a workout!! Thank again!
Now I'm going to do squat thrusts (with weights) to amp up for my 30-day Shred workout. I'm so dedicated to thinner thighs!! I hope doing those extra target workouts will help. Thank you!0
