I used a number of diet pills in the past. They work like BAM-however, it's not healthy, it's not sustainable, the second you go off them (and you should) you gain it all back. Just do it the healthy way and kick appetite by filling up on veggies and high-protein foods like beans, nuts, low-fat meats...mmm...

I swear by this battery-operated face scrubber I bought from Avon (it was on sale, I thought, why not?). I can't remember the name of it, but it's green and white and amaazing. :D

Way to go! There's a workout for everyone-that's what I love about exercise! I'm not very coordinated and wasn't crazy about zumba, but I know people that LOVE it and it has made a HUGE difference to them! You look amazing, girl!
-
Just a 30 minute yoga session. I was feeling pretty sore after running yesterday!
-
LOL, me too. Especially this part: If everyone in the world had the same BMI as you, it would add 71,510,296 tonnes to the total weight of the world's population
-
What flavor do you use? I bought chocolate but I cant imagine that would taste okay with water?
-
Cool!!! Thanks so much!

BMI is a good start, but it doesn't factor in your muscle mass, bone structure, etc....BUT for the record most modeling agencies have taken a stand against highering models below a healthy BMI. Notice models are still skinny as ever living hell, so if you're thinner than that you're definitely too thin!

Yeah, my work cafeteria only recently added low-fat dressing options, before it was Thousand Island, Ranch, Honey Mustard, or Italian. I looked up honey mustard on MFP and got something like 30 cal/tbsp. At the time I was doing MFP with a co-worker and saw her log this, I tried to tell her ours was more than likely much…
-
According to MFP, it's 42 cal/cup. The spaghetti sauce I used was 80 per cup, so 122 cal for spaghetti and sauce=not bad, eh? ;]
-
Oooh that sounds delicious! I'll have to try that sometime!
-
O.O That's hardcore! I honestly don't think I could take a chance like that-kudos to you! As another poster said, I don't punish myself for not reaching major goals, but yeah, if I go over one day I try to go under for the next week (however long it takes to make up those cal).

Totally hear ya! I always forget to use a tape measure, but I have noticed my clothes fitting better, and have recieved many compliments, despite actually GAINING four pounds since I started exercising. I still want to lose 20-30 pounds to get in a 'healthy' weight zone, but I'm done with the scale except for once a month.…

Light frozen yogurt with lots of fresh summer berries, mini bell peppers with hummus and peeled cucumbers. I thought I wasn't a big cucumber fan until I started peeling them. UMNUMNUMNUMNUM
-
Thanks, everyone! I think I'll go with just using half and freeze it. :D

My workout music is so different from my usual taste. I usually can't stand too much rap/hip-hop/dubstep, but I LOVE it while I'm doing cardio!

I work the overnight 12-hour shifts, and while I'm starting to love running in the am, I'm not home till around 7:30 and by then, this time of year, it's close to 95 degrees outside. So I've started P90x along with my runs, just do them when my daughter is taking a nap during the week/between shifts on the work weekend…

8 O'clock, with a little bit of non-dairy powdered creamer. I ground my own beans this way. Dunkin Donut's blend is good, too. :] If it's Folgers or coffee from my work I HAVE to have a flavored creamer in it. Otherwise I feel it just ruins coffee.

Wow! Thanks for this. I just started the C25k program and while I was feeling thinner and 'tighter' I was so bummed to see a 4 pound weight gain at the end of week 1. Thaaaank you! :D
-
I don't really watch the pounds. I threw out my scale a few years back because I was obsessing and getting frustrated. I weigh once a month, now, at work (I work in a hospital) because I am roughly 25 pounds overweight. I mostly go by how I feel...though it is frustrating to expect at least a few pounds and then see…

26? Your smile is radiant!!

Now, these are rules for me...they took a lot of trial and error, but I'm getting there!: 1. Never eat after 10 pm or before 8 am (I'm trying to shorten these hours) 2. If craving sugar, reach for a fruit. You'll be much happier with yourself and actually stay full. I used to try to kill this with a granola bar...but…

Thanks for sharing! I had a c-section a little over two years ago as well and I'm SICK of everyone telling me to just give up and get a tummy tuck!
-
Yeah, I'm not planning one either. I'm doing this because 1.) I need a cardio that I can do cheaply and outside (because I live in an apartment) 2.) Kind of a silly personal reason-but I was kicked off track in HS and told I wasn't "cut out for this". It hurt my ego, and even though I don't think about it too much, it's…
-
...what? Sure, don't eat too many bananas, but they aren't bad for you in the least! Goodness, people...
-
So true. Some people gain weight with fruit, myself on the other hand...I lived in Brasil for a few months when I was younger, intially lost a lot of weight because I was eating a lot of fruit. I think it has to do with the water density of the fruit. But then again, I wasn't eating much of my usual junk foods either.

Holy crap girly! We're the same height, I put on a LOT of weight with pregnancy and started at 172, now 155 and aiming for 125-130ish. You look AMAZING! Such an inspiration!
-
Hey! I just started yesterday, too. I actually love how sore I feel. I'm so excited about this program because I really feel like I can do it! Looking forward to tomorrow's workout!
-
OMG! So inspirational! You look like a totally different person! Happier, younger, prettier, more full of life! Way to go, girlie!!

Well I have the Android app C25K and I love it!
