When I went to America on holiday I had heard about the Cheesecake factory, and being an avid cheesecake and peanut butter lover I HAD to try a piece of Adam's Peanut Butter Cup Fudge Ripple Cheesecake... Yeah like 900 calories later... But it was worth it! And I didn't eat a dinner there too! And I saved some for the next…

Breakfast is my favourite meal of the day! BUT... sushi is absolutely definitely my favourite food ever and I could eat it 24/7! Even for breakfast. =p

i don't think it could be a thyroid problem as I've never had the problem until now? And I don't seem to be putting on weight...
-
Yes that all sounds similar to me! I hope someone knows some way to fix it? Or minimise it atleast? Even if I wear more clothes i doesn't seem to help
-
I'm already set on maintenance calories and have been for a few months
-
bump

Thanks for your opinion. Yes I do realise I'm old enough to cook my own dinners but I'm not really able to as my parents are worried I'm not eating enough (even though I eat 1500) and like me to have what they have.
-
Thank you, but my parents make dinner every night so I don't get a say. I'm just wondering if you think they are bad for me or not.
-
Just bumping coz I'm 5'3 too and currently trying to figure out my maintenance number!
-
Wow! Thank you everyone for all the responses!! I came on-line to a lot of friend requests today. =) Today i have decided I WILL start eating more of my exercise calories and hopefully that will get rid of that hunger I'm feeling now. But that means 1800 at least today for me... that seems like so much! =/
-
So if you are getting hungry have you been eating more than what is your recommended maintenance to fufill the hunger?
-
Adorable family. =)
-
Hey all, I'm 19, feel free to add. =)
-
bump!
-
Saving for later. =)

Oh! I recently upped my intake too (for maintaining) and now I've been bloating heaps too! I've even gained a kg. Is is really true that this could be the cause? I thought maybe it was just too much calories for me...
-
Okay thank you. I think its just a mind over matter thing and I need to keep with it for a little longer. I just look in the mirror and seem to think I look bigger. =/
-
Oh sorry I forgot to mention I had starting bumping it up to around 1400 first. 1200 was just where I first started.
-
It's a kg that has seemed to stay put for almost a week though. Do you think it's just too many calories for my body?
-
Hmm, it seems all the high calorie eaters I've seen lift weights. And I love food so I'd love a high calorie intake. How do you go about starting to lift weights?
-
Wow! What exercise do you do?
-
I'm 5'3 and 118 pounds and trying to figure out how much to eat to maintain too...
-
I just read through the ENTIRE thread, in the hopes I could find someone in my similar stats. But alas, I was wondering if you all could help me figure out how much I need to be eating. I'm 19 years old, 53kg (119pounds?) and 5'3. I'm trying to maintain this weight now but I have no idea how many calories I should be…
-
Okay... so if I'm supposed to have 1600 a day, but then I exercise 400 calories, then I have to eat 2000 calories? That's alot!
-
Cupcakes! Of any flavour! With lots of icing. =) And sushi, yummmmmmmmmmmmm!! And anything that is mint chocolate.
-
I don't know how to embed photos but this is me now. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/photos/view/11915920 This is a good weight to start to maintain or should I lose a little more first?
-
Wow so much to think about now! Thank you all. I have another question also. What are some generally 'safe' foods I can add into my diet to bulk up the calories without adding too much extra food? Like whole grains and things I know, but anything else?
-
Thank you for all your ideas. =)
