  • The part about the weights needing to touch the ground, that might be my problem. My weight level for deadlifts are only at a working set of 115. right now i'm doing 115 11 times and next week it's 115x12. it's part of a program. The following week I will be going up to 125x8.
  • I do the exhale on the up and exhale on the down. I do the lifts slow and try to control as best as I can. It's usually after I've put the weights down and walk away then i get a little light headed, but not near fainting.
  • Yeah most of my sugars come from fruit, except i drink a shamrock protein shake and that has like 43 grams. Starting tomorrow that will be coming out of my diet.
  • stay focused and aim to lose 1. or 1.5 pounds a week. I learned that I started to lose more weight consistently when I stepped away from the 2 pounds.
  • I did. I went from 253 in aug 10, 2011. Down to 200.7 by june 20, 2012
  • Yes bent over rows. I enjoy them a lot too. I try to make sure to do all compound lifts. the only one I do that isn't compound is bicep curls. The one I hate the most and struggle with is military press.
  • That's it? what about man handling a demi-god or conquering your subconscious through sheer will power?
  • HAHAHAHAHA! all thats missing is a tutu. kukukuku that's an awesome outfit.
  • That's why I think I started off so light in the beginning with dead lifts because I was afraid of hurting myself after hearing all the horror stories about them. Now I understand why people get hurt and how to prevent it. Now that I know this, I fricken want all my workouts to have me feeling like I do with my deadlifts.
  • YES! it's a workout that actually has real world usage.
  • I don't know what Chuffed means, butttttt if that means excited, stoked or happy, YES! Yes I am chuffed....if it means something else, I still might be chuffed.
  • DAMNIT! I didn't realize the mistake. kukukukukukuku. all this time i didn't realize that it was me losing weight as time was passing by, but I was turning back the hands of time. hahaha. Thanks for catching that. also thank you all for the support and words.
  • hahahaha....yes...i take that info and do nothing with it :) but like i read, it's important to not just take the information provided and also not be closed off to new information or fight against anything different to what they already know. i enjoy looking at all the information out there, even the things that seem so…
  • there is so much information out there....that you should actually look in to it to figure out what is being said and what might work best for you.
  • I would have to agree. it's not about doing things now if doesn't feel it's necessary. It's about doing them to make sure you don't have problems later. But from the information posted so far, i would have to believe that if I stretch later i might want to do some warm ups before I do the stretches.
  • I had that same problem with my stomach as you did OP. I started to get real committed to exercising and dieting that out of nowhere my stomach got way soft and i was just so frustrated that it seemed like i was going backwards. I kept continuing doing what i'm doing and it's still soft, but way smaller. As far as groping…
  • yeah tomorrow will be the start of my 7th week on the program. It's amazing by the way. I have every intention of trying to go three cycles before moving on to anything else. I want to at least have 45s on each side with my deadlifts before I move to anything else, just 10 more pounds and I'm there. One thing that has me a…
  • I just looked at the Wendler 5/3/1 and i'm thankful that I started on All-Pro. It's a lot easier to understand at first glance. I"m going to have to really look to understand the different routines within the workout. However, I think I have a decent understanding. I thought it was more about doing all the owrkout on the…
  • Ok cool...thanks for the info man. Before i finish this round of the all pro, I'll start looking in to the other ones you mentioned and do start trying to get familiar with the exercises and the routines. Once again, thanks for the help on the other routines.
  • I don't have any strength goals. I'm using this weight training program to help me develope some strength and help with my fat loss and definition. My overall weight goals would be to try and be near 15% bf or less. I never really had a proper understanding of weightlifting and all that goes in to it. So far this one has…
  • So no one try this exercise? that sucks. someone should try it so they can discuss with me their challanges. YES!
  • I have an 06 kia optima. I named him Optima Prime. because, well, who doesn't like OPTIMUS PRIME?!
  • i myself have been losing more with a higher calorie intake and tracking my workout calories. How many pounds are you setting to lose a week?
  • That's so true. makes me think of a quote "First they ignore you, then they mock you, then they fight you, then you win." M. Gandhi. But more like first they support, then they get mock, then they get annoyed and then they join! kukukuku. thanks for bringing that thought to mind.
  • Now that I have moved past the superficial goals, I really feel like there isn't a point where I'll feel like I'm done. thanks for luck.
  • Pennywise. Named after the clown, because when I found him it looked like he had a big smile on his face.
  • I recommend an entire cd by Pendulum. it's a jungle drum and bass mix that is so damn energizing and gets me pumped for my workouts. also, happens to cause myself and others I know to speed a bit, so be careful there. Pendulum Jungle Sound Gold - Disc 1
