This is inspiring! I have insulin resistance and I do have metformin lying in my cabinet. But I dont want to take it ! Can you please share your meal and diet plan ? I have a herniated disc injury so can't do any heavy workouts and i feel depressed since the weight doesnt move and blame it on my back !

I eat more when I am at work but its atleast healthy. Weekends i eat less but more of the wrong food, i dont eat on time n stuff like that. I am trying to figure out why i eat more when im at work ?

checkout skinnytaste.com, i am a vegetarian as well but i cook at home a lot, makes life easier. not sure if u can spend half a weekend cooking. take outs i like lentil/bean soups, chipotle salads , thai curry with tofu or pho noodle soup with tofu..let me know if u have any questions

Thanks for all your replies. My PT had advised aGainst any new exercise until I strengthen the core. I guess i should focus on that along with modifying the 30 ds. Where do i get the info on back friendly exercises? Scouring the web is sometimes not as helpful as getting siggestions. Thanks again !

I have had a microdiscetomy as well before i got pregnant coz pregnancy would have been a nightmare with the pain. I felt great after the surgery , but its been 6 yrs now and I have re-herniated the same disc again, my back is sore most of the days but nothing like how it used to be before the surgery. i might just get it…

Please add me too. I have a 2 yr old son, who eats ok but not enough since he hardly puts on weight. I am always caught in the dilemma how to buy groceries. He needs everything normal not light or fat free but buying everything separate also won't work. im not sure how to handle this

Thanks for the great replies guys. I am going to start with an HRM first. As of now my activities involve walking, elliptical and strength training. I am planning to start a dance class soon. So I think HRM will work for now :)
