I do it Saturday morning and Monday morning. I do my measurements Monday morning. I usually see a pound gain from the weekend cuz I tend to not count calories those days, but as long as it's a loss for the whole week, I'm happy and ready to refocus for the week.

^^^ That. Here is the link to 2 ways of doing a 5x5. He can choose which one he likes better for his schedule. I'm doing the 2nd one listed. http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/wotw56.htm

My advice is def don't lower your intake, especially if you don't think you can stick to it. You will lose motivation even faster if you feel like you are failing. You are still losing weight every week. Remember that it doesn't move in a straight line. You may get surprised here and there and lose more than 1/2 pound some…

I live out in the country. We don't have sidewalks  I always hated running on sidewalks. Too uneven and unpredictable at how well they are maintained or just randomly end.

Ironically this article makes me want to go workout... I'll make sure I post it on facebook too

I only have the fitbit on my Iphone 5S because it was free(You have to have the 5S to use the app). So it is only useful when I have the phone in my pocket (which is 95% of the time). For me, it's helped me get off my butt and just move around more when I see a low step count throughout the day. Just a little added…

Ya, definitely don't put a time frame on it. If you lost 20 lbs by June, but wanted to lose 40 by June, you would think you have failed instead of being happy that you're already halfway to your goal!

Throw on some headphones and stop worrying about what random strangers think of you. Worry about you and your plan.

I've been at it for 3 weeks and I don't really notice any visible results, but I did notice yesterday that I had to tighten my belt one notch!

I hate getting up early, but I've made myself do it twice a week for the last couple of weeks and now I still struggle a little to get out of bed, but the day is so much better when I work out in the morning. I feel so much more energized and motivated all day so I just remind myself of that in the morning and it helps me…

I use the FitBit app on my Iphone 5s and love it! It's free on the phone. Helps me get up and moving around more every day.

Ya, it took me awhile to accept that I have trouble just having a couple. But it's helping out my workouts. Going to bed early and waking up early to work out has really given me a ton of energy and more motivation.

I just did...and it reminded me of a reason why I'm working out! I want a sleeve tat!

I'm a guy and there are a bunch of good looking girls showing skin here. Of course I have. (although in a round about way it does help motivate me to keep working my *kitten* off every day  )

I hate running on a treadmill. Just always have. My gym has an indoor track so that makes me very happy lol. I hate the cold!

I look through the progress pics on this forum and remind myself it's a journey and a lifestyle, not a crash diet. Or I put on my swim suit and then the motivation comes back pretty quickly. lol

A scale is clearly your worse enemy. Ditch it and take pictures once a month.
