I have been maintaing since April. It really isn't that hard. I even stopped checking in here for a while, but now I am back.....just to make sure I continue to maintain :smile:

I think it all depends on the total amount you need to loose. I was never able to do 2 pounds because it would put me under 1200 calories. I think 1 to 2 pounds a week is perfectly healthy, just don't try to do more than 2. Just my opinion.

I also quit before I decided to loose weight and yes I did gain 17 lbs........BUT I don't think you will gain that much if you are exercising and eating properly. It was really hard for me at first too, I just made sure I exercised more to burn the extra calories that I ate. You can do this, if I did it anyone can. Also make sure you drink plenty of water and that will help alot. Good luck!

I had the same problem and I did eat, but I ate low calorie foods....fruits and vegetables, greek yogurt, granola bars. Good Luck!

when I started, I had to start out slow. Just slowly lower your calories or exercise just a little at a time. Hope that helps!

Yes men are sensitive about being to skinny. Men feel they have to be big and strong to protect the little woman :) When you are telling him he is to skinny he is hearing you say he is to small.

Same here, I have lost nearly 40 lbs., but I still "see" my fat belly. Everyone tells me I look great and sometimes I see it and sometimes I don't. I also want to lose 5 more pounds, I hope I feel better when I get there.
