Starting weight 9/9: 157 Current weight 9/16: 155 Month goal: 148 Last week I had the stomach bug and was unable to eat or move around a lot (which explains the weight loss) but I'm not going to let it stop me! I've been working out 60mins+ everyday so I'm hoping I will see results. Good work everyone.

  • Hehe, I'm right there with you!! I always keep small popcorn bags around and hummus/carrots. If you're looking for something fattier (aka cheesy), I roll a whole wheat tortilla with some part-skim cheese and microwave it...Not the healthiest but it's better than Taco Smell!!
  • I started yesterday with a good friend, and we are completely exhausted from it! We can each run 5+ miles and I roller blade all the time, but man, Insanity kills me! Haha. I'm not totally following the diet because it doesn't have many vegetarian options, but I make sure I have enough energy and hydration for the workouts.

  • It is better to walk for 45 minutes because it takes your body about 30 minutes to start breaking down blood sugar. Basically, if you move for a longer time, it is better for your heart. To burn calories, though, 30 minutes at a quicker pace is good! Sometimes it is about the quality than the quantity!
  • My nets have all been under 1000...I eat around 1300 but I workout everyday and that lowers it A LOT. I have kinda ignored it? I guess that isn't good...
  • I slowly weaned myself to drink black coffee because it not only takes away the bad sugar/fat from the milk, but also because I drink less of it. Also, black coffee is calorie free! I drink a mug every morning with my food so I still get the energy rush, but the food I eat with it keeps me going past the end of that rush!…
  • Make sure you drink a lot of water! About 6 cups before the class if you can, because I sweat a lot! I do an hour and half 2x a week, and it is amazing! Best decision ever! Good luck, and just let go! It is a great way to get in touch with your body and relax.
