  • Don't forget that the calorie suggestion they give you is for weight loss. If you go over you still have a buffer of calories that will maintain your weight. Going over is not the end of the world, in fact it is good to go over occasionally, otherwise your body gets used to how many calories you are eating and adapts.

  • You definatly need to eat your calories since you are on a 1200 calorie diet. If you eat below 1200 calories for the day your body goes into starvation mode and by excercising and then not eating those calories, effectivley it would be doing the same thing.   • I work out between 5.30pm and 7.30pm depending on the day and then eat my tea after my workout which takes up my excercise calories.
