It's a great reminder that I'm not alone. Thanks for the posts... I totally forgot about MFP and recently began logging my food (yikes) also bought myself a Fitbit for Christmas and it's a big help. Keep up the great work friends!

I lost my regain(s) by going back to basics and doing the 5 dpt a couple of times. I also logged every bite into the MFP food journal whether it was good or bad, it's all about accountability to ONESELF. Daily exercise too, I started at 5 mins on the treadmill and worked up to 1 hr. I've been lax on the exercise again…

Sounds like an excellent plan. We all know what we need and should be doing but doing it is very hard. I still still struggle and I'm almost 15 yrs post op. I refuse to totally give up and that will hopefully sustain me. Hang in there!:smooched:

What a bubble buster but true...calcium citrate is best for our special needs:)

I just realized that I forgot to update MFPs on my last follow up in March. I have nothing to report, really. The swelling is all gone and feeling is mostly back but it's been almost 6 months too. The skin is very loose, much worse than prior to the lipo (which was expected) and I will have to live with it for now. I feel…

Lisa, Laser tightening? hmmmm, interesting, I wonder if that could be done on my calves at least? In lieu of lift on calf areas since that is impossible to place a discreet scar on the calves according to my PS it would have to run up the back of the leg and look like seemed stocking, lol. Have you heard of anyone doing…

Thought I'd give an update to anyone who is interested. :flowerforyou: I went to my PS visit Dec 3rd and the swelling has pretty much gone down with the exception of my right ankle area which is weird since he didn't lipo there. I still have hardly any feeling in my calves and that is weird too since he only took a dab out…

I too slept on my reclining sofa for 2-3 wks before I felt comfortable enough to go in my bed. This is normal. Listen to your body and call your doc if you are overly concerned. He has a staff that can answer any of your questions or concerns.

Outstanding 24 to 14-16! I agree with nashbear, too funny but that would work!

I am enjoying reading everyone's posting so much! I am an old timer, had my open RNY in August of '98 and I forget how awesome the beginning/honeymoon phase is. It is both exciting and scary. It was the best thing I've ever done for myself. Only regrets is that I had no guidance for post op due to my surgeon retiring…

Thanks for everyone's comments! I went to the Dr post op visit and he had few answers to my questions of the complications I had. He did say he had a favor to ask me and that was if he could use my before pics for a panel he was starting with 2 other PS and himself. He was calling the panel the "Deborah Panel" and it's…

First off, good going on the weight loss! Secondly, it is still up to "us" to eat right and exercise everyday, the surgery is a tool, as Robin said, not the cure. I felt like you did, Charity, and thought after I lost my 202 lbs I could eat normal...was I sadly mistaken. I regained 70 lbs and then found online help. It's a…

2 wks post op of the inner/outer & anterior thigh, calf & knee lipo surgery. I'm just now getting a little bit back to normal. I had complications with the anesthesia and the pain meds which put me behind schedule in my recovery. The first night I had severe nausea but could only dry heeve since my tummy was so empty with…

Welcome TG! You've done well! You can take care of this regain! We are here to help you through it! I too, as well as many of us, suffer from depression and anxiety. Mine is situational, that's a joke, who isn't depressed depending upon their situation?, LOL. Anyway, I wish you all the best in your struggles & victories!…

I doubt that you are the only one who has experienced this. I am so sorry to hear about your suffering and I've not experienced it. Please talk to your doctor sweetie and get the support you deserve. I do know that the surgery didn't cure my "head hunger" for sweets and that I've been battling for awhile. We are all in…
