It says I'm 10%. Clearly not accurate.

Baking sweet potatoes increases the GI. Boiling is the way to go. http://paleohacks.com/questions/82512/sweet-potatoes-baking-or-boiling#axzz2CLQlCb5c http://www.livestrong.com/article/295025-the-glycemic-index-for-sweet-potatoes/

I'm tired of all this fat shaming. Look how beautiful she is. Health at every size, sealed with a kiss. Fat acceptance for the win. Health at every size. She's a real woman with curves. Not like you 200lb twigs out there. Let's protest against impossible Hollywood standards of beauty and lies by the medical profession…

I've had great results with bio oil.

Urine contains urea. Urea is a great moisturiser, and probably explains her great skin.

Moisturising helps, especially after showering.

MFP's standard macros have ridiculously low levels of protein. I suggest that you click "goals" and change the percentages. Ideally you should be eating at least 1g of protein per lb of lean body weight. Otherwise you're likely to lose muscle mass when dieting. I generally try to eat about 200g and on some days close to…

Definitely carb up the days prior to the run. Also consider taking taurine and beta alanine supplements.
-
Another gainer here. Bodybuilding.com is the best resource for the information you need. MFP is awesome for tracking what you eat (whether you're bulking or cutting) and feeling better about yourself

This is mine.

BCAA, creatine and beta alanine supplements generally help a great deal with muscle soreness. There is a lot of scientific evidence to support this. The most important thing is to listen to your body. If you constantly feel sore and tired, then you're probably over-training.

My BMI is 22.7. I guess that makes me healthy. BF% is 14% and I want to be under 8%. BMI is not a very good indicator of obesity or health. While it largely correlates with body fat percentage, there are lots of outliers. Just because you're in a "healthy" BMI range doesn't mean anything if your body fat is 20%. On the…

168lb, 6', 14% body fat. Managed to put on about 10lb while keeping the body fat percentage stable. Still have some fat in abdomen and chest. I've just started cutting. Even if I can lose a few pounds that'll be a big difference bf percentage wise.

What's wrong with whey protein shakes and egg whites. That's what everyone does.

Manginas will turn the other cheek lol...

He has every right to push her away if she approached him in an aggressive violent manner. Wouldn't he do the same if a man came towards him that way. Most young people are brought up to believe that both genders are equal. It's only the baby boomers that think they should turn the other cheek when hit by a woman. Equal…

If she didn't want him to touch her, she could have put her arms up and told him not to. Why should there be special privileges for women. I don't think there's anyone younger than 40 that wouldn't hit a woman back if hit. That sort of deluded mangina white knighting chivalry crap is dead and gone in this post feminist…

Strength training and hypertrophy training is slightly different. Stronglifts is more powerlifting style. Hypertrophy (bigger muscles) generally requires higher reps (10-12). In addition to what everyone else's said, - Forget machines. Use free weights and do compound exercises like squats, deadlifts, bench press, pull…

Just buy one of those small battery packs that attach to the iphone. They shouldn't weight much. Alternatively, get an android. I hear it's what the cool kids have these days. Most droid phones come with interchangeable batteries.

I guess you're old fashioned. Having grown up in a post feminist world, I think that men and women have equal rights and responsibilities. I treat men and women the same. If someone hits or is going to hit you, you have every right to defend yourself. You wanted equality - now you have it. Suck it up. #Uppercut

What if he was coming towards her aggressively and she pushed him. Equal rights, equal lefts. They both need to work on resolving disputes without physical or mental aggression.

Rubbish bro-science from your uneducated PT. Insulin is probably the most anabolic hormone there is. You need carbs before and after a workout. That's why lifters have dextrose/maltodextrin with the pwo protein shake. Insulin delivers all the nutrients to the muscles. If you don't have carbs before/after workout, where do…

I've taken a variety of diet medication, and while they've certainly helped I don't think they were necessary at all. I still would have lost a lot of weight with the way I was eating. However, these helped get me started (i.e. I saw results immediately and my performance at the gym increased immensely). What works for…

Maybe you should adopt the metric system. 2 litres is far too easier to drink. Yanks....

False. If you're on a huge calorie deficit and don't eat enough protein you will definitely eat up your muscle mass. Your body fat doesn't need to be anywhere near 6% for that. I learned this the hard way.

Pure whey protein is usually very low carb. Most commercial mixes have additives for taste and some extra carbs. I'd ignore MFP's macros and eat at least 1g protein per lb/body weight if you want to preserve your precious muscle mass when cutting. I usually take Optimum 100% Whey double chocolate. Tastes like a milkshake.

You've got some sort of an adware/spyware plugin that tries to direct you to ads. Duh...

This is weird. I felt exactly the same thing today. Did some cardio after 3 days of weights, and felt awesome.
