  • what a transformation! you should be so proud of yourself! (and i'm the same way.. i forget to weight myself and tend not to recognize any changes...)
  • law student.... sitting on my butt in the library sure doesnt burn too many calories! add me!
  • I'm 5'2, starting weight 150, goal weight 130 and my calorie intake was supposed to be 1200. Maybe that gives you an idea. I have lost about 6 and stick to that 1200 calories pretty closely. I generally eat around 1200 a day and then burn about 300 with running or aerobics 5 days a week. If you put your info into MFP it…
  • I'm also on a 1200 diet. I will add you! Welcome! I hope this program sticks for you. :)
  • By the way... I mean I want to lose about 10 MORE in addition to the 5 I have already lost...
  • What an amazing difference! Looking good! Keep it up.
  • Same here! I need to loose about 15 by August 4!
  • Hey everyone. I added myself to the challenge and put my weight on today. Thanks for creating this! I hope this will help me to get the motivation that I need. My eating has been out of control the last couple of weeks. :( Hope everyone had a great first day!
  • I live in DC now (around Adams Morgan/Columbia Heights) but am moving to Falls Church soon. I am a law student, and a law clerk, in DC. I have lost about 4 lbs so far, and would like to get 10 more off. I am a member of WSC.
  • I would be down!
  • Way to go! Those are two things you should be super proud of! Keep it up!
  • Welcome! You and I are about the same height! I would like to be around 125 (ideally) as well. I will add you!
  • I am in need of a reboot... which is why I joined MFP a couple of weeks ago. I started getting complacent with my weight. (And by the way, I was in El Salvador about a month ago and am going back soon!) I am going to add some new friends, I hope fresh faces on my feed will help!
  • Wow! I'm so impressed. Keep it up! Im at 1200 and have some trouble with it. I have cut back on the lattes and switched my breakfast for low cal and that seems to do it for me. I definitely have to exercise to meet it though.
  • I looked at tons online, but then limited myself to visiting 3. I have found that you could search for ever for all of these things, and really drive yourself crazy. It is really just better to limit yourself!
  • IGNORE THEM! I usually try to find a place somewhere in the corner (not wear the grunting weight dropping meat heads are) and I bring a few hand weights with me (usually a set of 8 and a set of 10) and then some dumbbells. I lift about two days a week and I divide it into "push" moves and "pull" moves. (Meaning on one day…
  • I am a Zumba instructor 2 times a week and I usually run 3 times a week and lift weights once or twice a week. I go on spurts where I will do more, but that is the standard.
  • I'm having a pretty traditional Catholic wedding. And the reception is going to be pretty "vintage-y". It will be in an old mansion (at one point used for a temporary white house for Coolidge when the real one was under renovation!) It is going to be pretty "classic DC".
