  • Definitely! Looks amazing! Go You!! :drinker:
  • I pulled a muscle in my back today doing cool-down stretching after a work out. It sucks. I have just been taking it easy and putting muscle heat rub on the area. other than that, i think you just have to wait these things out. :grumble:
  • The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog.
  • I'm not a bride to be, just a chief bridesmaid to be. Trying to slim down both for the wedding and for my own personal choice. The wedding is my sister's and is this december (!!) so i need to start working harder!! :flowerforyou:
  • Hello! Don't feel disheartened or worried! This happens to a lot of people (me included). The body, when you first start dieting and exercising, puts on extra weight because of the lesser calorie intake that you have started. I guess it's sort of shock mode. It's this period of the weight loss process that people tend to…
  • That's true love  And by the way, I think you're pretty :flowerforyou:
  • I agree with the above. I think you should treat yourself every now and then. Denying yourself what you want will make you either want it more or hate the fact that you can't have it and put you in a generally bad mood. You can work it all off again the next day:wink: I just ordered and ate a take-away because a) I hadn't…
  • you are amazing! You must have some seriously strong will power! What an inspiration! You look like you could fit both your legs into one leg of your old jeans!  Such an inspiration! Well done!:flowerforyou:
  • I read somewhere that if they are new stretch marks (bright red/purple) then if you lose the weight they could fade to barely noticeable because they haven't actually scarred the skin yet, like the silver/white stretch marks. Not sure if this is true though, you might wanna google it:tongue:
  • Well done! Both you and your wife should feel very proud of yourselves for choosing to take the plunge into the world of weightloss! I bet you will both do great! Just focus on your little one and all the health benefits it will bring for your family, not to mention feeling awesome about yourselves and being more active…
  • I don't do the Wii games as such, but I do the Zumba dvds at home and i know there is a Zumba wii game. I think they are just about to release a second one. Anyway, the zumba dvds are fan-frickin-tastic! Best work out i have ever done and it doesn't even feel like a workout. You are guaranteed a few buckets of sweat after…
  • You look fabulous! I long for the day when my tummy is that flat!!
  • Like someone else said, muscle weighs more than fat. So don't rely too much on the scales but more on how you look to yourself and others, how you feel about yourself, how your clothes fit and perhaps inches lost from bust, waist, hips, thighs etc hope this helps! :flowerforyou:
  • hey i just turned 21 in september :) New to this site too and would love support from everyone, but especially people from my peer group, because they will most likely feel exactly the same as me :)
  • Hey! I have basically the same stats as you (5'3, 182lbs) and the way I see it is, you can eat 1200 calories per day whilst doing excercise to burn it off; you have to work off more calories than you consume to lose weight. Sorry if that doesn't really help... But basically I am trying to cut my calories down as much as…
  • Hey! I'm new here too! I guess we could both use all the support we can get, losing weight is hard enough without having to do it alone! I'm definitely ready to lose my excess weight and start looking and feeling more my age. I feel like i look a lot older than I am (I'm only 21 but i think the weight and the clothes i…
  • Wow! Such an inspiration. You look incredible in all of the photos, but you look especially beaming and glowy in the latest one. xxx
  • A Lovely face and a lovely smile. you ooze positivity and look like a great friend to have!
  • [/quote] Hi Laura, I have similar stats as the above poster also...5' 2" tall, started at 184 and have lost 35 lbs since May! You can do it - I plead: please stop putting yourself down and try to think positive... You are a special person and worth being a smaller, healthier you!! Log everything and you don't have to give…
  • oh thank you everyone! it's so nice to get a response from girls who feel the same and to have some female support and some girl-power! Well i did do a workout today and did eat healthy (well, healthier than normal ha!) but i officially start tomorrow. I literally have the biggest sweet tooth ever so it's probably…
