I'm also looking to add more friends for inspiration and motivation! Any of you please feel free to send a friend request! Let's do this!!
-
This exactly! Others may notice the changes that we don't see in ourselves. It's good that your husband is supporting you in this! :)
-
I'm having a Lunchable. The one with the little chicken and cheese sandwich and a tiny bag of mini oreos for dessert.
-
Salt. I love the stuff, haha.

It is a struggle to lose weight it seems, but I'm sure you know that it is also worth it! Friends can definitely help make it easier and more entertaining. Feel free to add me as a friend if you'd like, I'm always looking for new friends that want motivation and are willing to return it as well. :)

Oops, was supposed to say "...because that is WHAT I have logged."
-
I still struggle with this, unfortunately. I agree that working during the week definitely help to stay on track. Lately I've been trying to log my meals before I even eat them. Kind of like a budget for food, "I can only eat this much because that is when I have logged." It helps me to stay a little more focused on what…

Good luck to you! I've found that having good friends on here with similar goals is a great way to be motivated. Feel free to add me if you'd like. :)
-
My biggest motivation for logging food and exercise is definitely my MFP friends. They are a great support system. Find a few good friends on here and you'll be amazed how much it helps you towards reaching your goals. :)
-
Welcome to MFP! You'll find a lot of support and motivation here, and you'll be reaching your goals in no time! Feel free to add me if you'd like. :)
-
My biggest source of motivation during the week and even on the weekends are the friends I have made here on MFP. It is amazing how motivated you can be by just a few people that are more than happy to provide encouragement and inspiration! That might be a good place to start anyway. :)
-
Right here is what is really helping me. Logging every day (even the "cheat" days) and being motivated and inspired by my friends here on MFP. It is a long-term thing so be patient and stay with it! Good luck! :)
-
I'm 34, and I'm always on the lookout for new friends my age! :)
-
Seems there are a lot more that weigh every day than I thought. Good to know it isn't just me! :)
-
Thank you all for "weighing in," hehe. I see that there are a variety of opinions on this subject. I think that I will continue my daily weighing so I can get a good idea of how my body reacts to how I do from day to day. I don't think I could keep it to only once a week or so, it would drive me bonkers! :)
-
I gained 3 pounds. It could have been worse, and I am back on track today! It's my Right Now Resolution! :)
-
Same here!
-
That is a great motivational story! You should feel very proud of yourself! It is truly an inspiration to hear how others are being successful and how they have found their friends on MFP so helpful! Good luck over the next 3 months, we can't wait to hear the next update! Good and supportive friends are the best friends! :)
-
I've never really been a fan of the "New Years Resolution." I've always thought that if it was important enough, you would always start right away and not waste time waiting for a specific day. There is no better time than right now to start working towards your goals, whether you are getting back on the wagon or just…

I log in daily and like to motivate my friends here on MFP. Anyone should feel free to add me if they want. :)
-
Hello there! My name is Kevin, I am 34 yours old, and have about 65 lbs to go to get where I want to be. Glad to meet you and good luck!
-
It seems I was grossly misinformed. Now I have to change my diary entry. I was really looking forward to doughnuts...
-
I'm only here for the doughnuts. There are doughnuts, right?
-
I'm a college student, although it took me several years to decide I needed more schooling. Add me if you'd like! :)
-
Haha, well this didn't work out like I'd planned. :P
-
I am always looking for new friends to help inspire and motivate! Feel free to add me (anyone) and let's get going on this health and fitness thing! :)
-
Welcome! I'm also a big fan of the calories tracker. I'm also looking for friends and those that will help and support me. We are all in this together! :)
-
I'm 6'1", looking to lose quite a bit. I'd love to get away from the junk/fast food and could use some motivation from my fellow tall people. :)
-
I'm working on losing a lot of weight, myself. I took a couple months off work for medical reasons, and put on more pounds than I would care to admit! I was overweight before, but now it is just crazy! I'll be using MFP to track my food intake as well as my exercising. Good luck, we are all in this together! :)

I use the Slimfast meal replacement shakes for breakfast (as I drive to work), then have a small lunch and a decent meal for dinner. This, in addition to exercising, has been good for me. Nothing really beats a well-planned meal, but the meal replacement shakes are good if you are a bit short on time.
