I cannot lose only on diet alone if my diet includes the carb amounts listed on here... I have medical issues which prevent it.... dunno if this is what you mean.

White Vinegar to laundry.... makes your clothes softer too.

Have more than 50 lbs to lose and finished the c25k program... starting training this week for 10k... feel free to add me!

I strongly disagree, it also depends on the food. Each person's body is different and how it reacts to food is different. EX: I have to eat less carbohydrates to lose than a normal person based on medical issues.

Move on ASAP.

I agree with a lot of the posts.... start small (ex) add a glass of water before each meal, walk during commercial breaks if you watch tv, there are also some great at home exercises to build strength and muscle (using things at home). Some have more to lose that 40-60 lbs and stress definitely does contribute to bad…

I've been running for about a year and have worked up to consistently running between 1-2 miles, 3x per week. I am still very overweight, so hopefully this helps me lose and my stamina continues to increase.

Check your iron level too =)

I'm trying to get back into the dating world and it appears just physical attraction for most guys... I wish it were different.

I would recommend doing 15 elliptical and 15 step then spending the other 30 mins on weight training, switching between arms/legs each day. You don't want to do both everyday. You can always do squats, jumping jacks, other cardio at home with kids during bathroom breaks or commercials (if you watch tv).

Great job!

I'm in.... how do you read these on your phone?

I agree with the OP... CICO is not the end on be all for everyone. I can eat less calories than I expend but if they are loaded with carbs, I will gain- this is because of medical conditions. To those who don't have these, you don't understand that it does affect weight loss.... thank you OP!

Hey all, I just read the posts and have too been diagnosed with PCOS. About 12 years ago, I lost 86+ lbs.... then I gained it all back plus some within 2 years. I got diagnosed about 5 years ago and hit my highest weight ever, recently. I have been unable to lose weight consistently this time around. I'll get down to about…

Great job!

I'm on day #371 of running or walking at least a mile extra.

Take it a little at a time.... I put up a document with boxes for each pound I want to lose and cross it each box off as I lose it. I also put a few words up like determination, motivation, etc. I have only lost a few pounds and have about 130-140 left to lose.
-
Nope, I don't get a lunch break.... I work 12 hrs straight. I also sweat too much to try to get a workout in during the middle of the day.
-
Same here, I am trying to stay active on here... 5'2 with 115-120 lbs to lose. Feel free to add me.
