  • I have this and had done it in the past and liked it but recently I pulled it out to do it and oh my goodness I was bored to tears. I recently got Turbo Fire...now THAT is a fun hard workout! To each their own though. With that said...my friend did Slim in 6 and her hips and butt shrunk like crazy.
  • holy crap..are you even serious. You look AMAZING!!!!!!!! and so happy too!
  • I've been fighting off the urge to be completely sucked into the Pinterest world. Man that place can be addicting.
  • kind of what I was wondering too.
  • Dove Solids or the odd time I'll use the husbands Old Spice Fiji scented. mmm. I've also used the crystal sticks, and they are fine, if you don't plan to do any amount of physical activity. I prefer not to stink. :) I've also tried Toms of Maine and Jason ...hated both of them.
  • Well I used to smoke...that always seemed to make me feel better. lol. momentarily anyways. But I quit that recently, so now I exercise more, and pilates and especially yoga are great for bringing a sense of calmness over me.
  • Not crazy about how it's longer in the back and definitely don't like those shoes with it. Find something else.
  • Thank you for sharing and congrats. You can definitely see the difference and it is amazing. I just completed week one of the c25k yesterday, and for the past couple weeks the scale hasn't budged one bit. Seeing I'm like 100lbs overweght, I'm gonna trust that it will eventually start dropping off and I'll see results aside…
  • 10 minute solutions Pilates Perfect Body. Love it.
  • Thank you!! Good on you for quitting as well. It's not easy, but it's getting easier, and as you said it is SO worth it.
  • Good for you! 30DS is no joke. All the hard work makes it worth it when you can slip on a pair of pants that once were too tight.

  • That is AWESOME. It's on my list of things that I really want to try as i LOVE biking. I'm a little terrified I'll collapse and drop dead. ok not really. but you know what I mean. It's good to hear from someone who went for it and loved it.
  • First: The Dixie Chicks Last: U2 <--best concert EVER!!
  • If a friend asks my opinion on something they all know that I'm gonna be honest with them even if it's not what they are going to want to hear. They love that about me. That's just the way I am, and I'd prefer that more people were like this. So say for example...If a friend were wearing something that didn't look great on…
  • I have yet to go to a wedding here in Canada where it isn't open bar. That was new to me. With that said, the husband and I had our wedding in the states on July 1st, and I hadn't ever been to a wedding back home where there was an open bar so I guess it wasn't really expected. We decided our guests could get at no charge…
  • Aw crap....some peoples children I swear. Been there myself. I was out jogging my a$s around the neighborhood one day and some young punk kids thought they'd get their kicks by laughing and yelling "hey fatty" to me. Yeah sure, it hurt, but I brushed it off and kept going. I've come to learn that people that behave in such…
  • Sometimes I think it's easy to sit and obsess over what the "right" "goal" weight should be. Just start working to lose the weight, melt the inches, build the muscles and see how you look and feel along the way.
  • like many others...love em and hate em at the same time. :D great workouts.
  • My gym...is the fitness centre on the main level of our condo building so I guess I can't really see the point in getting up and putting on makeup just to go downstairs and sweat it off. Plus...the few hotties I've seen that live here, are never in the gym when I'm there anyways.
  • might I suggest katheats.com she has a tribute to oatmeal where she has several different combinations for overnight oats. super delicious. my recent fave... 1/2 cup old fashioned large flake oats 1/2 cup almond milk 1/2 cup vanilla greek yogurt chia seeds pumpkin pie spice nutmeg 2 tsp brown sugar - optional *sometimes…
  • Oh yeah one more thing....if you are buying natural nut butters that have the oil and you can't stand it because it's such a huge mess to open and stir, blah blah blah......store the jar upside down.
  • I grew up on Jif, and oh how I loved it's creamy sweet goodness. Gave it up about 4yrs ago and switched to an all natural peanut butter made without all the additives, sweeteners, etc. Sometimes we'll buy organic pb, sometimes not. We don't have a set brand. Currently we have Kraft All Natural. It was a bit of an…
  • so there still might be hope for my husband after all? lol. we've been married for 7yrs and the only vegetables he will willingly eat are corn, peas, and carrots. sigh.
  • I had never done yoga before in my life, and desperately wanted to try Bikram Yoga. So I rallied up the girls and we all went. Instantly fell in love with it. As a girl that was and still is well over 200+ lbs it didn't hold me back, and to be honest the instructors were always very good about modifications if you were…
  • I'm not a runner but I've read lots about running, and the C25K. For me personally I find it easier to run on a treadmill. I find the impact less, and it just seems easier, as easy as running at 240lbs can feel I suppose. The only thing is...If you are wanting to run races outside, then I'd suggest that you get some…
  • Day 5 Level 1 for me today and I'll tell you that the last 2 did feel a tiny bit easier, minus those damn pushups that are just a killer. The first couple days it was sooooooooo hard, and I'd get soooo frustrated. Well the last two days I decided to MUTE Jillian, her voice gets on my last nerve and I get sick of hearing…
  • I wear a polar FT4, I'm 240lbs, 5'6, and usually burn 250-270 cals while doing the first level.
  • No..it doesn't hurt. Not before, during, or after the pushups. I've had instances where I have needed to have my wrist adjusted by my chiropractor but I've always been able to feel when that is needed. This, doesn't feel like that.
