  • Worry about losing later… eat healthy and sensibly for right now. An additional 500 for full time nursing and 300 for part time nursing is about right.
  • Absolutely incredible. I'm just amazed.
  • I'd talk to your sister and ask her what's up with it all, and then go from there… if he's hitting on her, and she's responding, wish them both the best and move on, he can cheat on her just like he cheated on you. Find someone who doesn't look at your sister because he only has eyes for you. If it's innocent and they're…
  • I have 4 kiddo's, they are 8, just turned 7, 4, and 2… I don't feed them anything different than I feed myself. So really, any healthy snack or lunch you feed yourself, just make enough to feed your toddler too. I personally wouldn't eat chef boyardee so I would never feed it to my kids. My 2yo just finished up a snack… a…
  • You look amazing… but I know what's going on… my family and friends did it too… I got called anorexic, MIL calling hubby behind my back to see if I'm actually eating… friends telling me my face and neck look all wrong… 'gaunt' was one of the words used to describe my face… people!!! It's only 30lbs… so frustrating. Just do…
  • Ok, another month has passed and I'm done BFL for now… my internet went down around Easter and without being able to log everything and stay within my goals, the eating slid… a little… but I kept up the exercise for another 2 weeks… and then… quit!!! Life's a little crazy at the moment, but that's ok, it'll come full…

  • Eeek! I forgot to do a Week 6 check in and we're already half way through week 7!!! So for today's update: switched my routine around this week so I could do legs tomorrow since I donated blood today and didn't want to do arms the day after donating! I figured proper planning would help me stick to my goals. So yay!! Meal…

  • This ^^^ I haven't been in a gym in 9 years… and definitely NOT going back. A bench in the back yard is just fine. ;-)
  • I wouldn't log it… it's just part of life.
  • ok…
  • 20 minutes HIIT, 3x/wk + weights/circuit training 3x/wk. So about a 30 minute workout, 6 days a week, first thing in the morning.
  • Friends are awesome. Feel free to add me! (anyone else too, just tell me it's from the kind-of-new post!)
  • Week 5 check in time! Progress is coming along nicely… definitely feeling stronger and have lost a few pounds… better than that? My belt is a notch tighter this week… YAY!!! Trying sweet potatoes this week ~ working to keep the diet varied and since they're something I wouldn't normally 'go to', it's time to purposefully…

  • http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/paula-deen/old-fashioned-meat-loaf-aka-basic-meatloaf-recipe.html This ^^^^ I had the same problem late last week… ground beef was thawed and just didn't know what to do… I HATE meatloaf… (the way my mom made it anyways), but hubby likes it and I've probably only made it.. 3 times in 18…
  • Awesome!!!
  • I think it's important to reach out when you need help ~ if you're feeling lonely, it's time to find some new friends… onwards and upwards!!!
  • Weekly here… but the last 3 weeks I didn't and then just weighed in once and was down 3lbs… so now I'm thinking it's nice to just weigh in every few weeks… ;-)
  • I think you shouldn't aim to lose 30lbs, but aim to replace 15lbs of fat with muscle. I got to 124 last spring and (at 5'4.5") still looked, ...skinny fat…. I gained some back and am now lifting weights and doing cardio on opposite days, I'm trying to get back down to the size of clothes I was at 124, but to be a lot…
  • I agree!! I never found it difficult 10 years ago ~ I cooked for myself alone… but now… it's tough. I can't feed my kiddos protein shakes!!! LoL… although we make smoothies with greek yogurt now… and they love them!!! Ok… well into week 4 and still going strong. Upped my resistance on the bike and noticing I'm peddling…

  • I just tried these breakfast sandwiches from Special K… they're in the frozen section, they're called Protein Flatbread - Egg, Ham & Pepper Jack Cheese Multigrain Sandwich. 190 calories, 12g protein, 8g fat, 20g carbs. I had a half cup of cottage cheese with it and it went down pretty good. And only a minute in the…
  • I log it as 27 minutes of Circuit Training - General. For my weight, it gives me 219 calories burned. i don't know if that's accurate or not, but I don't eat back my exercise calories anyways.
  • http://www.amazon.ca/Jillian-Michaels-Banish-Boost-Metabolism/dp/B001N2WIT0/ref=pd_sim_d_8?ie=UTF8&refRID=10E491BGSF97XYRB891V That's what I want to work up to… it's 42 minutes, broken into 7 6 minute circuits, maybe just do 5 circuits to keep it to your timeline?
  • No ink here. I don't really like the way it looks. I think its a personal thing and it's ok to have them or to not have them. I have lots of friends and family that have them, and some that don't, I do think it's becoming more and more rare to not have them though. Either way, each to his own.
  • I took my old levi's and unstitched the sides, all the way up to the waistband, and then sewed in a piece of funky fabric in a upside down V shape, same on both sides and they look really retro-funky-cute. I can't post a pic of them on here, but if you want to send me a message I could email you a pic of them… I also am a…
  • I love chocolate too, it's a major downfall!!! But, what about just 'tasting' the chocolate, and not actually eating it? My 2nd oldest son used to have problems eating, when he was little, 2ish? He used to just keep food in his mouth, never swallowing it… eventually he'd spit it out. We used to say he just liked to 'taste'…
  • Very well done!!!! You look great!!!
  • I just make it up as I go… chicken fajita's for dinner tonight fall nicely into my macros.
  • Thanks Dave! Well into week 3 and still going strong. Workouts are challenging, even when I think 'I've got this' I finish harder and stronger than before and find my legs aching later in the day… all good signs that it's working. Eating is still challenging, just working around feeding the rest of the clan and not…

  • 8 weeks is usually my magic number… no matter what fitness program I start on, I usually start seeing results around the 8 week mark...
