SW: 157 CW: 155.4 I have to be real careful with what I eat because of recent health problem, so I don't expect this kind of result every week. Would be nice, though, but not realistic. But I'll take it!!!

Ok, I'm late in starting, but I did a 3.8 mile walk on the beach today. It felt good to finally get out of the house and moving.

You look fabulous! Keep up the great work! :drinker:

You can add me. :-)

Save the pulp when you juice and put it in the freezer. When you have enough, make some muffins or yummy bread using the pulp for some nutrient rich and delicious food.

Just found this. Am I too late to start if I start tomorrow? I'd like to have a goal of walking 30 miles for the month. I have been totally inactive for the last two months due to rotator cuff surgery, and I need to start moving around. Something like this would give me motivation to do it.

It sounds like you need to spice your life up a little. Get rid of the mustard (it won't know you're cheating if you pick it up, give it a good shake, and put it back in the fridge), and try a little wasabi sauce instead. It'll change your whole outlook on the situation.

Last year I started dating a guy after loosing 49 pounds. When we would run into people I know they would tell me how wonderful I looked. He said that he couldn't imagine me ever being "fat." Wellllllll.........we went on a couple of back-to-back vacations, and I gained 7 pounds. He asked me if I was going to lose it, and…

Awesome progress! Be proud of your accomplishments! Anyone that would think your pics are "disturbing" has issues of their own that have nothing to do with how great you're doing! Keep us updated with more pics as you continue to progress. What an inspiration!

Along my jouney of life, I've found that I can indeed be friends with exes. The reason? My belief that people aren't out to "get you." My belief that people enter your life for a reason and a season. I have learned something from every single relationship I have ever been in, and that is priceless. Just because "we" don't…

I totally LOVE my fitbit! I got it specifically for the sleep tracking (Im a chonic insomniac), and it does an amazing job of trackin when I'm asleep and when I'm fidgeting. It doesn't count lying still as sleeping......for some reason, it can tell the difference between being inactive and sleeping. I'm lost without my…

I add about 1/4 cup of diet cranberry/raspberry juice to my quart of water to add a bit of flavor. A half lemon squeezed into the water works well, also.

You didn't blow it! You made a choice to eat something you wanted to eat. Did you enjoy it? I certainly hope so! If not, don't do it again! The only way you blow something is to eat something that you don't enjoy. Other than that, you make choices that you live with. You are living, after all, not just existing. If you…

^This.....PLUS......add some non-fat milk and/or velveeta cheese to make it soupier. Start off with small doses of it added to other things to get used to it......pasta primavera, mac and cheese, omelettes, mashed potatoes, mixed veggies, etc. You won't taste it so pronouncedly, and will gradually gain a "taste" for it.

I keep a huge pot of cabbage/vegetable/lentil soup on hand to munch on during the day (or evening) when I need a "little something." It's filling, satisfying, nutitious, and low calorie.

You can add me if you'd like. I told my dr. I thought I was hypothyroid and he tsk-tsked me for years before he finally tested me. I'm on 125 mcg's and have lost 59 pounds total in over a year. It's slow, but coming. I find that adding spices like cumin, curry, tumeric, and cinnamon to my foods help to increase my…
