I'm 5'2" and 130 and somewhat muscular. My measurements are 36-29-36. I'm 47. As my weight gets closer to 120, I typically lose an inch from each measurement (35-28-35).

My fave snacks are apples, and Kirkland (Costco) brand protein bars. They are 190 calories and really filling, so a great mini-meal for late afternoons at work.

I'm 5'2" with a curvy and muscular build. I wore a size 2 (briefly!) when I was about 110-115 pounds (34-26-34). It was a little too thin for me to maintain. Now I'm about 125-130 and wearing a 4/6. I look best around 118-120 and size 4 (35-27-35).

Sorry to hear about everyone's bad experiences. :/ I became a lifetime member at WW many years ago, but I haven't attended a meeting in a long time. I went back to WW recently to take off the 10lbs that had crept on in middle age. I've had great success with WW recently (8 lbs gone so far). For me WW is much easier than…

Keep in mind that the volume of breast tissue is much smaller in a 34DD than a 40DD, even if it sounds kinda the same. A 34DD would be comparable to a 40B in volume.

wow - you were pretty before, and beautiful now! You look like Lauren Conrad! Great job!!!

I'm 44 and have found Weight Watchers really helpful. It is much harder for me to lose weight than it used to be, and I have to track my food intake religiously, but with WW I've been able to do it. I just couldn't seem to take off the last 10 lbs through MFP and calorie counting alone. I think having the weekly weigh-in…

I would skip the laxatives, but maybe try a Colase (stool softener) instead. Just one in a while (and especially if you are taking any vitamins high in iron). Try eating more healthy fats as well - olive oil, avocados, etc.

I'm small (5'2" and size 4/6), and it's about 6-10 lbs for me. At 128-138, I wear size 8 pants. At 122-128, I wear size 6 pants. At 112-122, I wear size 4 pants. Below 112, I'm really too thin, but fortunately I rarely have that problem, LOL.

I'm not seriously worried about the aspartame, but I have other health reasons to cut back: - It erodes tooth enamel and has yellowed my teeth - It interferes with calcium absorption - It causes me to drink less water and get kinda dehydrated I think one diet soda per day would be a realistic goal for me. Any other tips on…

I think cutting back to one soda a day would be great. Right now I'm drinking three cans, which is kinda excessive. My reasons are partly health-related (aspartame), but also cost, and setting a positive example for my young kids.

Uhh...I doubt I will ever experience this. Every minute of running is painful for me. I'll stick with spinning, zumba, elliptical, and hiking.
-
I'm sure you're right...suggestions? I eat meat, fish, hard boiled eggs, cheese, milk, etc. Often have canned sardines with lunch.
-
I usually take spin classes 2 days per week, and often do the elliptical for 30 minutes after lifting. In total, I'm not working out more than 3-4 days per week though (and unfortunately I'm not that active outside the gym).

I'll try that. I don't mind the soreness, it's the total-body fatigue that is new to me. I'm sleeping 8-10 hours per night when I used to sleep 7. I don't eat gluten, so perhaps I need to find another source of complex carbs? I eat plenty of fruits and veggies, milk, cheese, fish, chicken, meat, eggs. (I'm mostly GF for a…

I don't really keep track anymore, but I'd guess about 1500-1800 calories (mostly nutrient-dense food). I'm a shortie (5'2"), I'm 44, and I have a sedentary job. MFP would put my maintenance calories around 1500 without the weight lifting. I've tried to lose that "last 10 lbs" by dieting at 1200 calories, but I wasn't able…

Count me in!
-
Count me in. I have 10 lbs to lose. So far I've lost 1.5 lbs, so 8.5 to go. It's slow going so I expect it to take about 3-4 months, losing 1/2 lb per week.
-
I save 100 calories for a popsicle at night. If I'm really hungry, I'll have a small apple.

5'3" and 122lbs, in my 40s with a sedentary office job. I lose slowly but steadily when I net 1200 calories. (I'm nearly at my GW of 118.) Above 1200 calories, I need a lot of exercise in order to lose. At 1200 calories, I'm borderline hungry and not very energetic. On days when I exercise, I need to eat a little more…

Ditto this! I'm 5'3" and my goal is about 118. (I started at 128, but it's taking forever!) I'm in my mid-40s. I think I look best at a muscular 118-120, size 4. In the past, I've been as low as 108 (way too thin for me) and as high as 136 (too squishy in the hips).
-
Height: 5'3" SW: 128 CW: 124 GW: 118 I eat 1200 per day, and I don't eat back exercise calories. It's slow going for shorties. I expect that it will take three months to lose the next six pounds.

Height (if not 5'3"): About 5'2-1/2" (every little bit counts!) Age: 43 Starting weight: 128 Current weight: 126 Goal weight: 118 How many calories do you eat a day? In order to lose weight, I need to stick to about 1250 Do you eat back "exercise calories"? Some but not all Do you allow yourself a cheat meal or cheat day?…

Last night I sat on my kids' hammock...and it broke. I fell on the ground, with the hammock in shreds! Guess it's time to get serious about the weight loss. :(

My pet peeve is when heavy lifters don't put away their 45-pound plates after using the bench press. I'm a small person, and I use the bench press for chest and the same bar for squats, and the 45-pound plates are too darn heavy for me to move!

I'm 5'2" with a small frame (age 43), and I can still rock a bikini at 115, but I'm pretty happy at 118-120 too (size 4). Right now I'm about 125 (size 6) and trying to lose a few pounds. A few years ago I dropped down to 110 due to a medication side effect, but that was too waif-like for me. I like my muscles and curves.…

I'm 5 feet, 2.5 inches, and my maintenance weight seems to hover between 118-122. I prefer to be around 115-118, which allows me to comfortably wear size 4 pants and dresses. But sometimes it drifts up to 125 (like right now, LOL), and then I need to wear size 6. I have been as low as 108-112 (wearing size 2) but appeared…
