I love how they put "corn", and then need to put "butter-flavored microwave popcorn" too.

I'm 5'0 too, and I'm on a plan to eat 1400-1500 cals a day. I'm patient, and yes, it's all about losing weight in a healthy way, in the most non-disruptive way possible. Personally, I wouldn't be able to live on 1200 cals a day, or not yet at least. I'm still having problems with my macros, tho :(

I wonder if there's a group for people trying to lose weight while on medication/illness. Yeah, this does suck. Now I have to take Invega, to see if it has fewer side effects than Abilify. And it just goes on and on. I truly admire you for being on the weight loss wagon with bipolar and Lupus.

I'm glad too, I'm the heaviest I've ever been, but I noticed as soon as my normal clothes started feeling too tight. It's hard work trying to lose weight when you're on medicine that makes you gain weight, and you're taking them because you have a debilitating issue that prevents you from having the will to do it (or any…

It doesn't matter to me if I'm under my goal. I'd like to save those calories for something really good and tasty.

I'm addicted to Coke (I know how it sounds), and I'm cutting it back in the process of cutting it off completely or almost completey. I'm replacing it with sparkling water, basically because I want something that tastes good in its own way rather than something that tastes like a poor substitute of what I'm trying to quit.

- Buying clothes that I like and having them look nice on me - Pursuing a singing career with confidence - Making my formell schoolmates jealous (I know) - Looking and feeling sexy

One type of body I'll never have: and one I can achieve: I see there's not one ideal body type but many, and also there are types of body I'd like to have, and other types I like to see in other people, but I don't aspire to myself.

I forgot about Jennifer Lawrence, her body's spectacular:

I'm not a fan of anything you couldn't do for the rest of your life either. I tried it once for a very short while, and with good reason: it gave me the worst migraines ever. As far as I know, it's also very unhealthy for your liver and your nervous system. Plus there's nothing like eating actual food, which you can a)…

I'm taking escitalopram once a day, in the morning, clonazepam 3x, and abilify at night. That's a good idea, switching to night to avoid the munchies...
-
I'm on escitalopram, clonazepam and I've been on ariprazol, risperidone, etc... on and off, because they're trying to find the right medication and dose for me :(

My ideal body is, of course, the healthy, fit version of mine, but for illustration purposes, what is realistic for me (although I'm 5'0) is Sofia Vergara:

I don't know if marriage is a deal-breaker, but the way he said it and what he implied by what he said and how he said it are reasons to consider dumping him.
-
Wow. That's an amazing story. I have no words. This reminds me of how many sides there are to good health.

5'00. Starting weight: 154 lbs. Goal weight: 110 lbs.

Pauley Perrette. She's just right. She doesn't look like a balloon, or like a skeleton, or like Arnold Schwarznegger's evil twin. She looks on point. Lean, feminine and strong. Also, she's 42. I wanna look half as good when I'm 42.

I "save", although I a) exercise, and b) try not to drink too much since I've started doing this. I do miss social drinking, but I guess all of these, plus hydration between drinks, plus dancing the alcohol off (as opposed to just sitting down and drinking) are good tips.

I wanna know something: Is there a MFP group for women with PCOS? I searched but it seems there's not. I'd be a great idea...

Bump

Oh. When I was diagnosed with PCOS, I didn't know it was such a big deal. I didn't know I wouldn't be able to have children. I want to have biological children. Also, I don't know what would be best: Trying to lose weight with only calorie counting and exercise and then seeing a doctor about it and taking metformin, or…

Of course you need to count alcohol calories (worthless kind of calories... ugh), I log gum, everything. I didn't know meds had calories too though. Ouch.

My reward will be better health a better body and more self-confidence. But hey, since the opportunity presents itself, I have many rewards I will give myself once I reach my goal weight: - Total makeover and wardrobe/make up change that actually reflects my style instead of just "what doesn't make me look fat" - Laser…

OMG!!! ARE YOU ABBY FROM NCIS??? ;) Wear the bikini!!! Helen Mirren wears bikinis and she's a lot older, but she has the body so she works it and looks spectacular in them.

It doesn't exist here, but it appears to be common in the U.S. Poptarts. Also sardines and sausages other than the skinny sausages from hot dogs. Onions.
