  • Sorry I've been MIA. Staying on track though; I'm down 13.4 lbs! SW: 198.8 CW: 185.4 It's come off a little slower than I might have expected but after 5+ years of weight gain/difficulty losing, I am thrilled to be making progress. My biggest goal is probably to stay on track with both my nutrition and my exercise. I had…
  • Sorry you're dealing with so much, @baconslave !
  • Thanks for posting! I need to get back on track this month. My weight bounced back up 3-4 lbs and I'm trying to see if I can reverse that. :/ Am on track with exercise. Logged food today. Hydration and electrolytes on point.
  • Thank you! Infection is better. Weight has bounced back up a couple of pounds but hopefully that will come back down now. I did have some inflammatory foods this week and feel a bit bloated, so hopefully dropping carbs back down a bit more will help clear that up.
  • I am on my second consecutive round of antibiotics trying to treat an infection. I feel like in the past, antibiotics have affected my weight loss. I'm obviously trying to eat yogurt every day and take some probiotics but I'm curious if any of you have experienced that, too, and have tips for reversing it? I hope this…
  • Thanks, @tishsmith101! And way to go hitting the 160s! I'd take that, too! :)
  • I hit 189.6! Lovely to see the 180s for the first time since last spring. So thankful to be reversing the trend.
  • Happy to have hit 190.2! After gaining basically 10 pounds year for too many years in a row and struggling so much to lose, having lost 8.6 lbs in 6ish weeks is very encouraging. Now I need to go back and log today. :)
  • I missed one day of logging last week but happy with how consistently I've done it overall. I came to the end of a 3-month MS-specific exercise program subscription so I will need to be extra careful with accountability/tracking. We had Friday checkins there for exercise. I might do it in my Bullet Journal. Last week and…
  • I love this! I think being consistent with logging ALL my food has been really good for helping me be more mindful of what I'm eating. Splurging for premium so I can track net carbs has also been helpful along those lines. I want to continue logging every day. March SW: 193.2 Logged all my food and exercised today!
  • I ended up losing 3.6 lbs in February. (I had lost another pound but bounced back up and stayed there with a little wavering up and down.) Not what I'd hoped for, especially this eary on after restarting keto, but much better than the constant gain/maintain/gain/maintain I've done the past 4-5 years!
  • Nutrition was going well except for last night and today. I need to stop worrying about being rude if someone makes me something gluten-free (trying to be thoughtful) and don't realize I eat keto now. I decided to go to Atkins 20 instead of Atkins 40. I seemed to have stalled out after losing the first 6 lbs, which is…
  • Thanks so much for the waffle recipes! I'll have to try those!
  • I am definitely trying that coffee! Do you make your own keto protein waffles? I'd love a recipe or brand rec if you're game to share!
  • SW (1/25/25): 198.8 CW: 193.4 Planning ahead: Done! I've been keeping good groceries stocked, which is KEY. Staying under carbs: I had a couple days that I was a little over goal, but today I was well under. Staying under calories: Done. Logging and measuring: Logging, yes. Haven't been measuring precisely but will start…
  • Thanks so much, @tishsmith101! All the best to you and your health!
  • Oh, and this is the first time in several years that I feel like I've been able to get back into that groove where my hunger/fullness cues are intact and the cravings/constantly feeling hungry are gone. Hopefully it lasts! It makes it SO much easier to stick with a plan!
  • This has been a crazy week. Spent Sunday in the ER with one of our twins for an allergic reaction. Yesterday was the specialist appointment with 9 hours of travel round trip. Whew. Amazingly I have been staying on track though and am down 4.8 lbs in the past 10 days. I'll take it!! I also took the time to do full…
  • Planning ahead!!! I need to do that today by grocery shopping and then meal planning. Running low on some essentials. Staying under carbs: did yesterday! Staying under calories: Went a little over yesterday but I was really hungry after dinner. I'm less concerned about staying strictly under calories as staying under carbs…
  • Those are fantastic results! Way to go!
  • I remember you from when I was here several years back. Good to see you! I have toyed with the idea of trying carnivore but haven't yet. Thank you for the important work you do!
  • Thanks so much, @baconslave! I appreciate your consistency here over the years! Amazing job with the 9 lb loss this month!!
  • I've been here before and found it really helpful, but it's been a loong time. I lost 20+ lbs on keto in 2015-2016ish and kept it off for several years but then switched to a sedentary job ... then COVID lockdown ... then had a very debilitating MS attack in 2021 followed by 4 rounds of COVID, lots of steroids and…
  • OK, I'm late to the party but I'd like to join for December. I've had an especially full few weeks and am exhausted. Last week I dropped to stricter keto, had increased energy, and have crashed this weekend energy-wise. Less careful with eating Fri/Sat. Not sure if crash is diet-related or just having an overly full week…
  • I know, I had a hard time even figuring out how to find this group again!
  • That's what I'm doing, too! I think it went ok today.
  • Hey, I've been away a long time so I don't know if any of you will remember me. I gradually gained some more weight in the past years. Also dealing with medical problems related to a serious MS attack in March (still in OT and PT trying to at least partially recover), plus having comtracted COVID in March and dealing with…
  • @sljohnson I've had the same problem recently. I started Intermittent Fasting almost a month ago (also read The Diet Myth and have been incorporating some principles and recommendations from there). This time I did lose about 6 lbs pretty quickly but then bounced back up and it took 3 weeks to finally lose another 0.4 lbs.…
  • Logged today Carbs within goal Aiming to be in bed by 11 tonight (currently 10 where I am) Also down another 1.5 lbs!
  • I need this!! I've gained so much weight over the past few years; hit 159, currently at 157 and trying to get back to the 130s. I was around 133 after my first round of keto but I think that may not be the most sustainable weight for me. (5'7" 44y/o female with MS and PCOS) I saw my pulmonologist recently for the first…
