I have no idea what this means, and googling lift and pour didnt help, so have done some random arm exercises.

18 thousand steps today :)

I was 15stone4.75. Or 214.75 pounds. Or around 97kilos ish. This challenge is perfect for me as I have a hospital appointment on 26 September where I will get weighed. I would like to be under 15 stones then as my goal. That means 209 pounds or less. So minus 6 pounds is the target.

i use a jawbone upmove. I tend to do 10k-15k steps on weekdays and 5k-20k on weekends. lately only 5-6k at weekends.

22 pounds in 8 weeks is a great rate of weight loss. weight loss takes time.
-
personally, i've been keeping some of the 'healthier' ready meals in the kitchen so that i have something lazy to cook
-
i'm in the UK, don't think i have many uk friends though, most things are okay across countries

120 days is impressive! Well done
-
I keep mine set on open to friends, but i don't eat anything exciting, mainly packaged foods to be honest.
-
I'm so like that too - try to do everything at once, obviously fail, then get so annoyed at myself about it that i give up!
-
lots of great responses!

For me: i'm trying to make sure i'm more realistic about calories. So having one day a week of eating maintainance calories and trying to make sure i don't keep having days under 1200 calories.
-
Thanks. I am eating small portions on a small plate, so maybe i'm just surprised at the full feeling and should try listening to it.
-
I'm in the same position... tried it using mfp so many times before and gave up. Recent seeing my reflection and pictures makes me need to do something about it as i'm bigger than all the previous attempts now this time...

what is mucus foods? Ive never heard of it. Why do you need to avoid it?

I think just eat at your maintainance calories today then your average for the week would still be a defecit overall?
-
It is a good point about it being silly to leave food on plate if it fits in calories and you are still hungry. I have switched to using a smaller plate instead of a dinner plate. I think i struggle with the "just stop eating if you are full" part, so maybe i need to practice listening to my body instead of practicing…
-
Because many people always finish what is on their plate even if they have had enough to eat before the plate is empty, so wondered if some people make sure they leave something to retrain this?
-
I feel like i've had enough to eat before the plate is empty, but keep eating because i logged it all and there is still food on the plate

I have my carbs set to 30% which is 140 carbs per day

I weigh every day, i think the trend is more useful than one random datapoint once a week. So long as you don't look only at the changes from daytoday, it's more useful. Motivates me to stick at it too.

it's interesting reading but the font is really difficult to read in the first entry. The second two are a bit bigger font though :)
-
I'll make mine open too :)

i have pcos and a lot of weight to lose. I'm at the heaviest i've ever been now, hoping losing some weight will bring back my periods.

I'm 24 and in Bournemouth, would like UK friends too

i started off it put it there. but i found it was too difficult to keep in. adding exercise can "earn" you more calories
