Can anyone recommend a mucus free diabetic diet?

    what is mucus foods? Ive never heard of it. Why do you need to avoid it?

    Mucus??? Unless you routinely eat the nasal and/or other various secretions of yourself or animals that should be pretty easy to accomplish lol.

    Mucus keeps you from getting pneumonia and other very nasty lung infections. It also allows waste to move through your colon and women to have sex without pain. Mucus is necessary, not some evil thing like that quack website would have you believe.

    I have seasonal allergies that are really bad in July and August that causes over excessive mucus :(

    Always have problem with nasal congestion.

    That excessive mucus traps the airborne pollen, etc. that you're allergic to and makes it possible for you to blow/sneeze it out before it hits the cells of your nose and pharynx (which would make your symptoms worse). Also, congestion is also caused by dilated blood vessels--trying to eliminate mucus would have no effect. Products with pseudoephedrine can help with that.

    I just got a good giggle over that website. People really will try anything to get you to buy something!

    You don't need to do this. Just make it a matter of calories in calories out. Since you're diabetic you will also need to watch your carbohydrate intake. Your doctor should have given you a guide :-)
