  • Great job!!! I was also afraid to run outside, but when I finally did I found it to be easier than running on the treadmill. I love running outside now!! It is an awesome feeling to just crank up the ipod in my ears and just GO!!! I call it my therapy!! Keep up the great work!!
  • Any ideas out there??
  • I couldn't get those earbuds to stay in my ear either! I found some earbuds at Walmart that are smaller that fit perfect in my ears. They come with 3 different sizes to put on. And they were only like $10. I have ALL sorts of music on my ipod. Mostly 90's music though. Kind of depends on my mood. I pretty much go on the…
  • Thanks for all the compliments!!!! It really helps to keep me motivated!!!
  • Great job!!! Very inspirational to me!!!
  • The dvd says it requires some weights and a mat. I don't have any weights but I did some experimenting and found that a 16.9 oz bottle of water weights about 1.1 pounds! If you are new to working out these work out perfect because at the end of the workout those little water bottles feel like 10!!! I just use a towel as a…
  • I have a question regarding Whey Protein and weight loss. In the morning I have a protein shake with usually a cup of frozen berries and either a cup of fat free milk or OJ with Vanilla Whey Protein for my breakfast. Now, I drink it after I do my workout on the treadmill on the way to work. So, if drinking it right after a…

Then a few days later, I started walking 5 minutes then jogging for 30 seconds. Then just adding 5-10 seconds to the times that I jog. Now,let me say, I am in NO WAY an expert on jogging. I have been…

  • I have felt the same way!! I started changing my eating around the same time as you. I cut out pastas, potatoes, and bread, except for on a very few occasions a couple bites of potatoes here and there. And the last 3 days, I have ate, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, rolls and stuffing and I felt like crap too!! It feels…
  • Hey there ladies! I am 5'2 as well! Nice to know I am not the only short person around!! My heaviest was 226 over the summer, currently at 194, working on getting to my first goal of 150.
  • I have to say, these posts are great encouragement for me!! I only started exercising on a treadmill about 3 months ago. I weighted in at 226 pounds. My first time that I was able to make it a whole mile, I did it in 20 minutes. And I couldn't even think about jogging! Now I am down to getting a mile in at 15 miniutes and…
