  • I've bought plain and put in honey, granola, sometimes fruit. Two strawberries chopped up, or a few raspberries chopped. I've actually changed from plain yogurt now to plain greek yogurt. You can pretty much add anything. Sometimes I'll even sub some yogurt for milk with cereal
  • I use allrecipes for most of my recipes and just change stuff around to be healthier (low sodium, low fat, whole grain alternates, that sort of thing)
  • I had that problem too (and still do a lot of days when the baby has been up all night) But I've found that keeping some sort of motivational something by my bedside can help. A picture of yourself that you want to be healthier/thinner/whatever. A picture of the outfit you want to fit into. Anything like that
  • I actually thought the same exact thing. If YOU are writing it, then it should be YOUR recipes.
  • I never binge, but I definitely have days where I just need a beer. Especially with a toddler, when hubby has a day off, that's my day to have a drink lol
  • My little sister was always slightly bigger than me (not fat, just like a size 14 while I was a 10) Now she's in the Air Force and I got pregnant. She's lost a lot and I've gained. She offered to give me her old jeans (size 12) for post-preg wear. Well I'm a year after labor and I can't fit into them and now my sister is…
  • If I'm cleaning a whole room (i.e. the entire kitchen, not just dishes) then yes. There's an option both for moderate cleaning and heavy cleaning and I'm on my feet staying active, so why not. If there were a log for sleeping, I'd probably do that too lol, since you even burn calories while you sleep (not many, but hey,…
  • Remember that in addition to any workout/exercise routine, you're also burning calories doing normal daily stuff (even sleeping) and I'm sure with two kids, if they're younger, you're getting a bit more calorie burn than most. And 3500 calories equals one pound of fat, so if you're eating 1600 and burning like 18-1900 a…
  • That's just creepy. All my friends have come from a mom help site that I use, so I feel motivated to get the baby weight off. I haven't had any other requests.....yet
  • I hear Insanity does wonders for folks. I recently requested an Insanity DVD from my local library (still on the list for it) Also heard some people loving Jillian Michaels Shred & Shed so I ordered that as well, just have to go pick it up from the library. I hear that one is fun, but kicks your butt majorly. I'd say check…

  • Ha well I reserved a bunch of Jillian Michaels DVDs from my library. I don't have an iphone. In fact all my phone does is text or make phone calls haha. I will check out Hulu though. I share my netflix with my brother and he shares his hulu, so I'll go check that out.
  • I make Chicken Tikka Masala. Soooo good and not too expensive to make. My daughter is currently allergic to dairy (hoping she'll grow out of it) so instead of yogurt and heavy cream it asks for, I use coconut milk yogurt and lite coconut milk. It's probably healthier anyway and we can't really tell a big difference.
