Don't worry about what other people think. You are doing this for yourself, not for them.

I'm one of those casual smokers who is trying to quit. I've tried the Chantix but it made me sick to my stomache. My mom quit about 12 years ago after 40 years of smoking but now has lung cancer. She used to smoke 2 packs a day where the most I think I ever smoked was one pack in a day and that was due to drinking. I did…

Dolvet for sure. Every season is so different. I will watch no matter what because it's so inspiring. Love BL13.

You all are so inspiring. If I wasn't already motived by entering a 5k in March, I would be after viewing these before/after pics. I'm going to post a pic soon of my current weight so I can see the progress in March. Love you guys!!!!

Way to go! Amazing job. With your attitude, you will surely meet your goal. Keep it up!

I have a fantastic turkey meatloaf recipe. message me your e-mail & I will send it. I also have a turkey strogonoff recipe at home if you are interested. I only use ground turkey when I cook. My tacos, etc turn out phenomenal.

I started C25K running outside and made it through week 6 before it got cold & rainy. I joined a gym about 2 weeks ago and found it more challenging to run on the treadmill than outside. I was also doing about 30 minutes on the elliptical after I ran. I find the breathing more challenging in running on the treadmill.…

I have several goals: 1st goal is to complete C25K - starting week 7 next. 2nd goal is to lose weight rather than gain this year. Originally I wanted to lose 20 lbs from Sept. 1 to Thanksgiving but since I am actually up instead of half way to my goal I need to kick it in gear. I want to lose 15 lbs by Christmas so for…

The first time I started C25K was May 30th. I made it to week two and stalled. My doctor put me on a new medicine and I gained weight, retained water & had a lot of headaches. After I got of the medicine I restarted C25K in July. Again I made it through week 2 and then got bacterial brochitis which put me down for 4 days…

Way to go! I started C25K at the end of May, restarted in July and again in August. I am up to week 7 but it turned cold & rainy here and I can't go buy all the gear to run outside any more. I am checking out a gym tonight with a 7 day pass so hopefully it will be reasonable and I can join so I can keep running and finish…

Nice work!!!! Congrats!

Let the boss find you working on your resume.

I reluctantly go on the scale last night (I always weigh in on the wii at night) and was down 2.2 lbs since Thursday. I ate bad all weekend, drank and did not exercise so I wouldn't have thought I would have had a loss, but I did thankfully.

Don't sweat it. I think you are doing a great job with this group. As far as losing the weight, well we all have to do what works for us. I'd say the important thing for you is that you know something has to change is order for you to be successful. Keep at it, don't give up. Keep trying different things until you find the…

Yup. Ate & drank too much and no exercise. Today will be different.

I started C25K in May. I had to restart it 3 times. I just finished week 5. I was never a runner & never thought I could do it or would like it. I LOVE IT. I feel amazing when I run, even more so knowing what I have accomplished. I have pretty huge boobs, but I have gone from 46DD to 42D since May.

eat more.

I've had a great week. My official weigh in will be tomorrow evening, but my wii scale said I was back down to where I was last Thursday before the "bad" weekend got me. I think it would a good idea for you to use WW with MFP. I myself have combined several different programs into my lifestyle change. I don't consider…

I'm from a tiny town in the "thumb" called Sebewaing. I now live in Sterling Heights. I've told many people about MFP and have friends & family who are on the site. Most of them do not use it every day like myself but they do belong.

Awesome job! Keep up the good work.

You are the person who decides your fate. You are the only one who can make the necessary changes. You have to want to do it for the right reasons and you have to find the right combination of things that work in your favor. Don't be afraid to try new things. This year I've been on the 17 Day Diet, started running with the…

Don't feel alone in your frustration. My weekend got the better of me (and my TOM) so when I got on the scale Sunday it said I was up 5 lbs. Thankfully I don't have to count the scale reading on Sunday, just the one on Friday. So I have turned it around and am eating very healthy today, I ran last night, I am zumba'ing it…

Oh hell yes! I am totally making this tomorrow. I am however going to use ground turkey instead of beef. Oh, and I think I'm going to add some canned mushrooms for the "veggie" effect. Mmmm mmm mmm.

I'm in. Friday is my normal weigh in day. I got a jump start last week with a 2.8 lb loss. I hope this week is good even though I know it won't be that good. I'm hoping for at least 1 lb.
-
Yup, in the hips. Good job. Congrats. Keep up the good work.
-
On MFP I've lost the amount that the average American eats in cheese every year, but overall I have lost a small bale of hay.
-
About 240. Down to 218 ish right now. Love running. Have you heard of the C25K program? It is awesome if you are a beginner.
-
I think we need an updated profile pic because I know that one is a wee bit old. Congrats my friend! I look forward to hearing of many more successes from your camp. 20 lbs by Thanksgiving, WE CAN DO IT!
-
Yes, I'd like to know too.

Thanks Hope! For the record, my official starting weight today is 218.6. Work it people! Work it!
