I've given up straight forward attempts because she just shuts down... Now i just stick to subtle hints.. Offering to cook for her so that her meals are healthier, asking if she wants to walk to the park thats a mile from our house, or the store thats 2 miles away... She usually agrees to it... But 2 healthy meals a week…

Ya i try to kick her out of the kitchen whenever I can (I'm a better cook anyway :bigsmile: ) just so i can choose what i get to eat. Most of the time she makes balanced meals but then puts waaaay too much on my plate and my stepdad will scold me for wasting if i dont eat it all :grumble: so iv had to remind her constantly…

I'm on a 1200 limit and its working out for me. Calorie intake is based on height, weight, age, lifestyle, gender, and tons of other factors. I have friends who are the same size, same age, but eat more calories because they are more active.

Y ou can eat them if you want to, it wont hurt you. But only eat them back if you are hungry, not just because you can.

6 tsp not tbsp but ya i usualy have sugar free creamer but my mom picked it up for me. I also usually don't eat so many sweets (but with christmas I got so much candy and cookies that they're tempting :frown: ) but im usualy over my sugar even when i dont eat extra sweets. plus i have 3 little siblings under the age of 8…

I had always thought yoga was just glorified stretching until I tried it :laugh: I just started getting into it a week or so before I joined MFP and was surprised how much it worked my muscles. Another idea is basic Tai Chi :smile:

For exersises try yoga :smile: It works you out alot more than you'd think, but it doesnt take alot of energy

I don't have a hubby, but I am in a serious long term relationship. It could just be that he doesn't see why you want to lose weight (or doesn't want it to seem like HE wants you to). My bf just keeps saying "You look fine, but if you feel you need to lose weight go for it." I can tell that he would love if i were thinner…
