Yeah I think I was a bit in love with Guybrush when I was little! "You're as repulsive as a monkey in a negligee!" "I look that much like your fiancé?!"

I'm more of a retro adventure gamer - Monkey Island, Discworld, Simon the Sorcerer, Broken Sword, Day of the Tentacle, Grim Fandango etc... I'll add :)

I'm proud of myself for losing almost a stone since Boxing Day. Some days I think progress is very slow but actually, considering I was less than 3 stone overweight to begin with, I think I'm going at a very healthy pace.

Liquid is liquid, it hydrates you either way. So yes, if you'd rather drink coffee than water, drink coffee :) I personally drink a lot of juice and milk for my liquid intake.

Enigrebua = Aubergine backwards. It's my favourite colour and I do enjoy the vegetable as well. I believe the USA equivalent of an aubergine is eggplant :)

Keep down your carbs and sat fats, make sure you're getting enough protein and good fats, stay hydrated. Good luck and happy birthday for then :)

For someone to say 'it's because of your genes' is pretty weak. You could say that about anything to do with you, your genes are what build you into the human being you are. Sure, ability to either lose or gain weight has something to do with your genes, but only as much as what colour your eyes are or how big your feet…

Oh ok I do have a weird fact about myself...I don't think I've ever really followed through with anything in my life since high school. I hit a weird block at 15/16 and have never been able to break through it. I've quit two colleges, two universities, two jobs, two boyfriends and two houses in the last 8 years. Never for…

The main symptom of Grave's is hyperthyroidism aside from the eyes. Might be worth asking a doctor just in case. I don't really have any strange facts about myself to share. Maybe that's strange in itself.

Yup calories are calories...the only reasons for being more careful about what your food is made of nutritionally are to make sure you get a nice, varied diet and not an abundance or lack of anything, and also because sugary foods, sweets, treats, fast food etc can take up a lot of your calories but do not tend to satisfy…

Liz Lemon from 30 Rock tends to sum me up but in 18 years time. I have a lot of her personality quirks! Although I don't have an obsession with food like her and I'm not weird about sex like she is, haha.

I genuinely ate an entire jar of nutella with a spoon once. I had stomach ache for a long time afterwards.

I've never worn a bikini and never intend to. I don't like them at all. Nice that you ladies have the self-confidence though, you look smashing.

Yeah you're right the context is what makes these opinions of sad songs, which may not even be obvious sad songs, so personal. I can't listen to certain songs because of things like that.

Hey guys, I'm relatively new to this site, been active since Boxing Day. I just found this group - it's great to find locals! I'm from Bolton. Could you tell me some more about what happens at the meets? Thanks. Lou x

My take on 'hot' is probably not typical. To me the guys I've dated have all been hot, not necessarily in terms of obvious good looks, but manner and personality and intelligence, how they put themselves across and communicate, etc. That is what I find important. and 'hot'. They're as different to eachother as anyone else…

Eating times are usually neither here nor there with regards to weightloss, but your meal times do set your body clock and activate your metabolism, that's why breakfast is considered to be so important. Eating after 6pm should not be a problem, but you may have an uncomfortable night's sleep and slower digestion if you…

I think people expressing their own opinion in a public forum is what makes this world a free, open and interesting place to live, however, I do agree that a lot of people lack tact and respect when they comment and criticise others. Those people, I personally just ignore! Problem solved!

Gorgeous! Well done girl!

I have achieved the same in 4 weeks...I didn't think it would work either! Being part of a community is absolutely priceless!

In my opinion, if people can be so easily influenced by advertising, then they probably would be better living in caves, the world is plastered with advertisements! I don't care what ads there are, they keep sites free and if you're really bothered about seeing them, just download the free ad-blocker tool which can be…
