OOOhhhhhhhh sooooo happy to hear this! I have high cholesterol and was worried about yolks. I read eggs are extremely healthy. Was hoping it was true.

I took it for a short while years ago. Side effects for me were alittle bit of continuous nausea, sleeplessness, dry mouth and anxious feeling in my chest. Those were the cons. Pros, gave me energy and curbed my appetite for a couple of weeks and then not so much. I only took them a short time. I would not take them again…

Ok, funny you mentioned salt........it does panic me to think about giving it up. But, I know it is HORRIBLE for me. I do want to work on my salt issue, but I don't know if I can eliminate it right now. I love spice on my food but I usually stick to a salty creole spice. I will have to research how to use different spices.…

Hi, thanks for your advice. I researched eggs and cholesterol and I will be eating eggs, nuts, and avocado. I like veggies a lot so I am eating many of them. Trying to use olive oil when oil is needed for something. I have olive oil dressing I eat. This is just so different from just trying to lose weight to look better.…

Baked tilapia with broccoli and cauliflour with uncle bens ready rice medley (brown and wild rice). Seasoned fish with no cal spray butter, garlic salt, and tony cachereys (sp) seasoning. Simple but if you season a lot, it is soooooo yummy! I like simple :)

thank you everyone. yes my goal is to get off meds. the stories of people getting off meds are very inspiring and I want that to be me. The Mediterranean diet sounds good. sounds like what I want to be eating. Thx again for all of your comments and I will take the advice of reposting in Food and Nutrition board.

I think those (5 servings, or 9--I'm assuming you are talking about the UK recs) are total (fruits and vegetables), and it's really better to have more vegetables than fruit. Fruit I usually see 1-3 servings recommended (if you get enough veg, I don't think fruit matters so much, but it's delicious, so there's that). This…
