Hi, do any of you know of a website that shows real plates of food that are portioned out "normally"? Ex: A protein, carb, veggie, fruit? Not diagrams but pics of real plates proportioned out? Thanks.

Because it will show me what a normal plate of food looks like. It will help me be able to eyeball what my plate should look like portion wise. I do not have a food scale at this time. And someone saying 2 tbsps looks like the size of a golf ball doesnt really help me alot. Or 4 ozs of chicken is a deck of cards Etc.... I just have a hard time picturing it. I had a food scale once but had a hard time trusting it.

    pretty cool site

Oh, JK. You want pictures of portion sizes? That'll be hard because plate size and food variation. Do you have atleast measuring cups/spoons or anyway of measuring?

Could you not buy meats pre-portioned from a butcher?
