As long as you are sure of your logging and weighing food properly go for it. I eat at maintenance from time to time. Once a week is probably a good average for me. If it helps you stick with your goal then go for it. I've heard it's better to vary your calories intake from time to time. Your looking at your overall intake…

I naturally eat a 16/8 schedule. I generally eat from 10/11am to 6 or 7pm. Idk about anyone else but not having a late night netflix snack fest helps my body stay at a much healthier weight.

For me exercise is extremely important amd just as important as your diet. When I exercise the will to eat healthy is stronger. I can tell the difference between workouts when Ive been eating well and those I have not. Noone wants to feel like crap when exercising. I feel like if I go home and eat a bunch of junk it was…

Me... But I have a previous injury multiple sprained ankle both feet. Running makes them swell up. So I stick with swimming or light walking. I wanted to run a 5k but Ive given up because swollen ankles are def not worth it. Do you have asthma? I wasn't diagnosed with asthma until my 30's. I always got winded even as a kid…

If I skip breakfast same thing Im snacking in the afternoon. I would suggest not skipping breakfast or having a much larger lunch. I tried intermittent fasting and it just made me want to binge. Idk if thats your goal by skipping breakfast or not but thought Id add that in. Skipping breakfast backfires for some people.

I agree I would think not tracking would be best in your situation. For some tracking is very triggering. Good luck.

Everything I’ve read is you don’t really need extra in the first trimester and 2nd or 3rd trimesters it’s only a couple hundred calories extra per day. I personally wouldn’t count during pregnancy just watch your portions and pick mostly healthy choices. Congrats!

Veggie “burgers” veggie “dogs” veggie “chicken”... barf!

While you are recovering. Make sure you just make healthy choices. Really limit fast food, soda, processed snacks as tempting as it may be to eat something quick. Most doctors will clear you for exercise around 6-8 weeks depending if you have a natural delivery or a c section. Depending on the birth even light walking…

I’m 5ft 7. I picked 155 which puts me in a normal weight but at the higher end of BMI. I have no desire to weigh what I did in high school or anything like that. So that’s about 15lbs I need to lose which is doable.

I naturally dont eat until 11 or noon. I realized after the fact I sorta follow that schedule but you still have to not go over calories to lose weight. I can pig out and the scale wont move. Its not a magic pill. If its something that will fit your lifestyle go for it. I like eating this way because my meals can be…

I personally only worry about added sugar. I only drink water.. To me fruit is completely ok. Its not like you gonna gorge and eat a whole bag of apples or something like you would oreos LOL... I limit the added sugar. I have not cut it out completely I just only allow a certain amount. I believe we need sugar from fruit…

The best way is to eat a diet high in fruits and vegetables lean proteins. ETC. All that processed food is bad for you but when you start to eat better you will feel so much b etter and many people will tell you their bodies sort of flushed themselves out. LOL. TMI but true.

Raw veggies I do not track. I would have to eat buckets and buckets of veggies for it to make a big diff.

So instead of a cookie after dinner. Grab an apple or some.grapes or berries. Good luck

Fruit. Yes its sugar. But I guarantee you wont be able to eat the same amount. Very easy.to over eat on processed sugary type foods. Fruit is good for you. Some say you.shouldnt.eat a lot but.hey if we are comparing sweet.boxed.stuff.vs apples and bananas. Better.to eat apples and bananas. Over time you will crave the…

It is all about calories. But I notice if I eat like crap thats exactly what I feel like. Yea I could eat 2000 calories worth of candy and maintain but I would feel like I got hit by a truck. Thats not saying you can't indulge a little bit. Maybe set a limit like one dessert on thanksgiving/christmas/etc. Or limit it to a…

You will lose if you are in a deficit. But how will you feel? That being said you still can have your treats here and there. I feel best when I eat a good portion of fruits veggies and proteins and I feel better also. But heck I still enjoy my chips a hoy and icecream!! :) Its about balance.

I never started. I really really badly sprained my ankle as a teenager. I was STUPID and didnt listen to the doctor and use my crutches. They were not for chasing your brother with pretending to wack him with it. UGH. Im dumb I know. Since then my ankle was very weak. I was always re spraining it, twisting it etc. If I run…
