Hello All - I'm about halfway through but feel free to add me. The best tips I can give you all is; 1. Keep moving - any exercise/movement is good and do what you enjoy 2. Keep a food diary - food is the most important part and you really learn a lot about what you're eating by putting it in plain text - and weighed if…

I went up on Saturday, beautiful afternoon. It takes me just under an hour to get up to the top and about half an hour down. The main thing to remember is that it is steep - my heart rate can get up to 180 bpm in some places, and that's walking. Most people use it as a 'challenge' and believe me it is but well worth doing.…

I find motivation in making goals that are not weight based. For example, to jog for 20 minutes non stop, to be using 10kg dumbells in some exercises instead of 9kg or to burn more than 4,000 cal per week in exercise. Using the scales will immediately give you a bad/good day mentality when the scales go up/down, whereas…

Lately, because of the reduction of processed foods my DCI has naturally reduced and I think that my shopping bills are lower too (definate…

Cardio burns calories and people can see the calories getting burned visually when doing cardio, therefore get a little (lot) obsessed with cardio. The best way to burn calories is to build muscle - this cardio does not do. Muscle requires more energy to keep it going, so it will start eating through your fat cells faster…

Glad to hear that some one is having the same problem as I am. I'm not alone. Def finding it hard at the moment. But we gotta keep strong:) Occasional treats (like that pizza) aren't a problem, but when the treats become an everyday occurence, that's where the trouble lies

I've got the same problem. Just keep going with all the weights and stuff.... it apparently takes some time for the skin to revert after weight loss. It won't snap back (oh god i wish) but it will improve.

A pt keeps telling me about eating every 2-3 hours, i always thought it was bs. after all, how do they explain not going into starvation mode when you sleep... Just because you are using less energy when you sleep doesn't mean your body isn't using energy.... A few of mine... 'some times crunches can make your stomach…
