  • Great job, congrats! Your posture has completely changed, like you mentionned. You look way more confident in the third photo :)
  • Great results! Thanks for the motivation. I am 6 weeks into Turbo Fire and really loving it. The first couple of weeks I lost 6 lbs and over 7 inches, but now the loss has slowed down a lot and I'm finding myself getting discouraged. I'm trying to convince myself to stay motivated and not to worry so much about the weight…
  • Keifer Sutherland for me too! And Jon Bon Jovi.
  • bump for when I get home
  • Thanks everybody for the replies. I was suprised to see so many people with a similar problem - I tried searching online for a solution and couldn't find anything. My problem is with any brand of sneakers that I use for working out (Asics, Addidas, Nike, etc.). I went to our local Running Room specifically to get my feet…
  • I understand where you are coming from. Drinking enough water is a very big challenge for me. I'm hardly ever thirsty, and can go hours without anything to drink. And when I try to force myself to drink my water, especially in the early morning, I find it sickening. But I am trying every day to increase the amount. I do…
  • Thanks for the reply. No calluses or even hard skin on my feet. But I will never say no to a pedicure ;)
  • Did you watch the version of the workout for first time users where she breaks down the moves? It makes the workout longer and ruins the flow a bit, but you only need to do it for the first few times.
  • Everyone has to find a program that works for them, but I can say that I've had great results so far with Turbo Fire :) It hasn't even been 2 weeks yet and I've lost 3 lbs and 1 inch off my waist. And that's without doing any Shakeology or other restrictive "diet" - just giving up junk food.
  • I bought the body by vi shakes back in the fall but was not serious about it. I would have a shake for breakfast a few times a week and then continue to eat like normal, so I didn't see any results. I started Turbo Fire 2 weeks ago and have seen results already so I am ready to give the shakes another (honest) try. I am…
  • I thought I was the only one who found the 30 Day Shred boring - I am always reading posts from people who love the video. I have tried on 3 different occassions to get through the program and each time I give up before the first week. Now I am doing Turbo Fire instead and loving it!
  • Bump. Going to try this out over the weekend, tnx :)
  • Haha, I hear you. It took me half a year to get to the point where I could keep the largest hoop from falling all the time (the larger and heavier the hoop, the easier). But I enjoyed the classes anyways, so much fun. Now I am moved on to a smaller hoop and right back to trying to keep it from falling again. All you can do…
  • I find zumba a great way to start - either in a live class or at home. It can be a little overwhelming at first but you quickly catch on to the choreography after a few classes and then you can just let loose and move. I'm not a dancer by any stretch of the imagination either, but I always feel like one in my zumba…
  • I was interested in the answers to this question b/c I am also looking for a new aerobics sneaker. I don't run but do zumba, hula hooping, kickboxing, etc. - lots of high impact stuff. I had my feet properly measured at a running store and buy my sneakers thru them. I've always found the Aasics or Adidas to be the most…
  • Dancing With Myself - Billy Idol. I can't listen to this song and be in a bad/down/unenergetic mood. :)
  • Nowhere near as funny, but my excuse lately for not getting up at 530 am to do 30 Day Shred is that I will "Just Dance.." it in the night :P
  • I gained weight after miscarrying on my first pregnancy, at 32 yrs old. Both myself and my husband went through a big depression and month after month of medical problems and trying to conceive (with no success) saw the weight coming on. Then I finally got pregnant again and was so happy that I didn't care too much about…
  • I've got it but haven't started it yet. Perhaps it's time that I do. I hear good things about it.

  • I'm in. I was actually thinking of giving this a go again yesterday and your message is just the push that I need to get started. Good luck everyone!
  • Hi, and welcome to MFP. I also want to lose 60 lbs by next year. I have an extra 30 lbs on since having my son (who is now 5 months old) and 30 lbs that I had wanted to lose before getting pregnant. This is a great site for motivation. Since joining last week I've already lost 5 lbs. I know that is mostly fluid, etc. and I…
  • If I were to be honest, I've been using my baby as my crutch. It's so easy to say that I don't have time to eat healthy or plan my meals because I have to take care of a 5 month old. But at some point that excuse won't hold up anymore, and I think that time is now.
  • Wow, I just read your profile. An army mom of 2 young children! As other posters have said, you are obviously a strong person and I wish you a very healthy and sucessful journey losing the baby weight. I am in a similar situation with my weight and need to get rid of 60 lbs. Hopefully we will be able to support each other…

  • I'm trying to lose 60 lbs since having my baby (who is now 5 months old) - 30 lbs of it is baby weight, the other 30 lbs is weight I was trying to lose before getting pregnant. I would love to join a group with other people needing to lose 50 + lbs, great idea. Nice meeting everyone.
