This said 13.1%. The calipers say 10.5%. So, its pretty close.0

one website says i am 18.8% and another (entering exact same details) says i am 25%!!
Conclusion - It doesn't work when you just enter your measurements online!0 -

My results per the test:
You have 18.7% body fat.
You have 35.1 Pounds of fat and 152.9 Pounds of lean (muscle, bone, body water).
That matches the body fat percentage that I got from my Omron hand held and is very close to the results I got on 2/10/2012 when I did a body comp at the weight loss clinic that my GF runs.0 -
You have 22% body fat.
You have 29.7 Pounds of fat and 105.3 Pounds of lean (muscle, bone, body water)
My calves I had to guess but they are huge ..this seems right..I wanna lower my body fat still tho0 -
Bry your calculator is the same one I use and it says
Body Mass Index: 21.5 kg/m2
Waist-to-Height ratio: 0.41
Percent Body Fat: 22.0%
Lean Body Mass: 105.3 lb
So for me exactly the same both test :-P0 -

This is really off for me. It's saying like 30% when everything else I've done is in the 40-45% range. I'm not sure why it comes out this way, but definitely not right.0

According to the website I'm on 22.8%
According to a skin fold test 3 weeks ago I'm at 33.6%
There's NO way I've lost nearly 10% bf in 3 weeks.
I have very slim wrists which seems to throw off this method. Last time I did a "measuring" method to measure bf% (about a month ago), I got 28%.
-sigh- I guess I need to buy some callipers.0 -
I hope we all know this isn't very accurate...0

cool link. i tried it out and it was quite accurate for me.
"How Accurate Is This Body Fat Test?
This tape-measure test is used to estimate your percent body fat. It is usually quite accurate-- so if a man got 17 percent from this test, he could expect his true percent body fat to be anywhere between 15 and 19 percent.
For some people, however, the results of the tape measure test may not come so close to their true percent body fat. People who are very, very fit can get numbers 3 to 5 percent higher than their true percent body fat. Because they don't have a lot of fat inside their muscles, very fit people may be lower in body fat than this tape measure test indicates.
Conversely, if a person is skinny but not fit, this body fat test may yield a number 3 to 5 percent lower than his or her true percent body fat. Though they look thin, unfit skinny people really have more than the usual amount of fat inside their muscles, which you can't see from the outside.
So, what's the bottom line? For many people, this tape measure test is quite accurate, it puts you in control, it can be done frequently and it costs nothing.
The most valuable aspect is that you can test yourself and you can see change over time."
this is through a FAQ link on the page at the end of the test. it's the best thing i've found without having to go pay a doctor. it was only off by 2% for me. it's not gospel, folks!0 -

You have 22.6% body fat.
You have 31.6 Pounds of fat and 108.4 Pounds of lean (muscle, bone, body water).0 -
I guesstimated and then used a ribbon, ruler and Sharpie (for now, while I'm at work, wit hno measuring tape!)
....
Love this! You are the McGuiver of fitness!0 -
The only accurate BF measurement is via an autopsy after you're dead.
Second would be hydro-static weighing, DEXA scan, and BodPod.
Third would be a multi-site caliper by a very experienced person.
Fourth would be impedance (scales, handhelds) and those tape measuring calculators.0
