Thank you, arniedog and tilliesmommy :) Annie, feel better! I'm afraid today will be exercise-free. On Monday I started P90 (not P90X, lol), and although it says beginner it's been a bit too tough for me. It feels more intermediate. We're talking walking push-ups on your toes, and the modifier isn't even going to her…

Sorry, I'm new :P What does AOTD mean? I'm sure it's clear as day but I can't figure it out

Honestly, I don't. I'm no success story, so take this with a grain of salt, but when I have done very well and lost a lot of weight (almost 60 at one point) I was still snacking at night. I just made a point to save some calories for later, but not too much or I was hungry in the day. Also, I've been drinking this great…

oh my gosh, same here! I LOVED swimming as a kid, but once I hit my teenage years I was too uncomfortable to wear any sort of suit. I'd be so happy to get comfortable enough to wear at least small swim shorts and a tankini or something. This won't be my summer, I can guarantee that, lol. I am, however, hopeful that next…

Yes! I printed my P90 calendar off and I loved marking off today too :)

I understand that all too well! I struggle with anxiety and depression sometimes. I guess I'm sort of lucky that they're always sparked by something so it's not a constant thing. I just need to be more healthy in my ways of working through those times. Today has been great so far: A P90 workout, a 30 min walk, sticking to…

That's awesome! I'm loving the ease of it all too. Just finished Day 1 of P90, and while it was TOUGH I'm glad I pushed through. I really want to feel more fit again and lose weight. I'm a fan of the Brazil Butt Lift stuff too, and I love that there's such a variety. I get bored easily

Hi all! :) haha, I'm so glad I found this post. I'm a serial starter... have been since I was 12, and I'm now 30... I've gotten a close to "goal" but never seen what it looks like. I've gained quite a lot back after that, and I'm closer to my highest adult weight (220) than to my lowest (160) and I'm looking to get back on…

Thanks Stacy! :) Will do. I might increase my membership to include more of their library

Hello :) I feel your pain there. I've always yo-yo'd my whole life and I'm struggling to get back on track as well. I love mfp, I just need to stick with using it. Also just signed up with beachbody on demand, and we plan on getting a treadmill in a few weeks or so. Hoping the new workout options will help to get me going.…

I'm glad I saw this! I just signed up for beachbody on demand, and I plan on sticking with myfitnesspal and calorie counting :) I just find it so simple and it fits into my life easily. I don't want to bother with those Tupperware things :P

I love this! You're so right, and I know I need to start reminding myself that way more often!!

I've been away for a while (fell off the wagon *sigh*) but I'm so happy to see my post here has helped others to talk and share about it. I'm a bit horrified I shared mine, as I have friends on MFP that could see this (just guy friends, and I'm taken, so who cares right? lol) but I'm glad it made a good impact on so many :)

Thanks @farmerpam1 :) I'm only losing about a pound per week, so I hope that will help. @galprincess good to know! I'll look for it, thank you!
-
Thanks for sharing your experience! That is so cool!!! Looking forward to serious changes
-
Woooow!!!! You look awesome!!! So much progress there
-
@Shull_rachael I totally see it! Awesome job, and thanks so much for sharing!
-
Awww thanks, dear :) I made this on my phone with an app called pic stitch. @CroneStar I know what you mean. I almost feel like this doesn't get talked about enough cause it's so embarrassing for us, but sharing and talking about it gives each other hope. Love that :)

May I ask what kind of firming lotion?
-
Thank you, @star1407 Much appreciated :) @Yanicka1 WOW! You look incredible. I have heard that for most people, the "fold" hanging down is usually because there is still fat in there. I'm hoping that's the case for me. If I look close to how you look and have a bit of skin that doesn't look great, I will be thrilled!…

@star1407 aww, thank you :) I am very hard on myself.. I just want to see some change.

I've been in the same boat. My highest was 220 and when I was down to 161 I felt like it looked the same... and now that I've started taking photos.. after a month in, 7 pounds down, 2" down on hips, and 1.5" down on waist... my pics look like I'm the exact same. I don't get it. My arms also stay the same size... even when…

*EDIT* Chickened out lol
-
I'd be willing to PM mine to anyone that is curious, but I can't just post it here... too scared for now lol. I swear it looks worse than everyone else's :P
-
Thank you!!! I'm so inspired by these photos!! *Almost* ready to post mine. I'm such a chicken! lol. I don't have a lot, if I measure underneath and down it's about 2 inches.. and it's not that big either. It's sorta flatish... but the funny thing is when I weighed about 25 less than now it still hung down.. I know it was…

Oh and if I have an impressive before and after later I'd be willing to share, but too embarrassed for now :P I have also been exfoliating my lower abdominal area with a wash cloth and using lotion there and I swear it's helping. My skin looks a bit less wrinkled even though I've lost weight! Definitely try it ladies!

Ladies!! Thanks so much to all of you for joining in here, it makes me feel so much better. Strength in numbers, right? :) I took a photo of my stomach (with underwear properly under my tummy so no hiding it LOL) when I started on Jan 2nd and I took another a few days ago. It definitely looks a bit smaller, and I'm pretty…

I go over about that much per day too, but I used to salt my food like CRAZY. Now I don't salt anything, so I still think I'm making great changes there. It doesn't seem to be getting in my way so far, but always seeing that red is certainly annoying.

I only tell my fiance, in real life. I have such a support system between my online friends (both here and gamers) plus instagram, so I don't feel the need to. Plus, I REALLY love when I get the "are you losing weight??" without them knowing I'm trying. This eliminates the possibility of people saying that just to be nice…

Welcome back :) I am! I was away from any sign of being healthy. I wasn't working out, I wasn't eating well, I was gaining weight and moping around. I haven't been doing this well since like 2011. Back on the horse since the 2nd and I feel so good! Feel free to add me as a friend if you'd like :) -Fellow coffee lover
