  • Northern Vt here.....feel free to add!
  • I am a PT in New England and have worked with many ACL patients postoperatively. I would personally avoid a patellar tendon graft as there is a high incidence of chronic patellar pain and problems following. It has been years since I have worked with anyone who had a patellar tendon graft. They just aren't done very often…
  • Crap! I don't have enough calories left! :)
  • ummmmm... the PT caught my attention. PT is the professional abbreviation for Physical Therapist. Godd luck in your new venture.
  • I gave up wheat in general 2 1/2 months ago and feel so much better. No more bloating in my belly, decreased waistline, and most importantly no more food cravings! I, too, would recommend reading "Wheat Belly" if you can. I read the book after I decided to go wheat-free and reading cemented my decision. I don't see myself…
  • Wheat causes spikes in your blood sugar as much as table sugar and is turned to fat if not used. I would suggest reading "Wheat Belly". It just might make you look to veggies, nuts and fruit as your main sources of carbs.
  • Oreos.....definitely my kryptonite!
  • A girl after my own heart....thank you!!
  • bump...thank you!
  • Bump......thank you!
  • I lost my wedding ring earlier this year....it just slipped off my finger and I never was able to find it. I too had put off resizing it...now I don't have the option! I suggest resizing it before it is too late! Congrats on the weight loss!!

  • I love me some white wine and Grey Goose....though usually not together ;)
  • Bump....and thanks for the ideas!
  • Feel free to add me too! My weight loss ticker on MFP is not entirely accurate of my weight ups and downs over the last 2 years either, and I just recently started using MFP again! So far so good! Good luck!
  • My little MFP weight loss ticker is totally inaccurate----here it goes! I joined MFP in 2010; lost some weight initially then stopped logging in. Over time I gained more weight bringing me up to @ 250#. I Lost 80# in about 6 months time and then without really paying attention, gained 30# back! Since June, I have lost 25#…
  • That was going to be my question, too! I find myself avoiding fruit because the old student in me doesn't like seeing the red numbers at the end of my food log at the end of the day. Any suggestions would be welcomed!
  • So sorry! I empathize...that happened to me in January! Unfortunately, I never did find mine. When we brought my engagement ring to the jeweler to be resized (thankfully I didn't lose that one too!), my husband surprised me with a sapphire enhancer for my engagement ring as an anniversary gift. Can't replace the…
  • Love my sauvignon blanc...but am being careful about how much. Maybe not every day but a couple times a week as long s I plan for it....or walk after dinner :)
  • Click on settings at the top, then diary settings and you can change your setting to whatever you want.
  • Wthout seeing your food diary, my quick answer would be more fruits and veggies! Good luck!
  • I'm Amy. I always feel much better when I eat lots of fruits and veggies though, if not vigilant, tend to gravitate towards bread, pasta and other such things. I would love new ideas for preparing veggies especially to prevent boredom and help me change my eating style permanently!
  • Wow......... I would simply suggest eating more whole food vs processed food, more protein and more water. I'm not a nutritionist or a weightlifter but it certainly doesn't look like you are eating anywhere near enough.
  • I totally empathize....at my heaviest I was around 250, would lose some then gain it back. I would know from the way my clothes fit that weight had come back but I was afraid to see the number. I think it is important to have multiple methods of guaging your progress: your weight, your mmnts, the way you clothes fit etc.…
  • You would lose weight but 1300 calories in donuts would leave you awfully hungry in addition to all of the other health risks.
  • I can't undertstand people who love to exercise! I do feel good when it's done but have never been one of those people who can't wait to get to the gym or crave exericse! Maybe I haven't found what I like yet but I don't know what else to try at this point!!
  • I prefer bread and cookies to fruits and veggies, the bakery is more enticing than the farmers market and I hate to exercise! Add vodka and any fruit juice on top of that and there ya' go!
  • I would suggest staying with a none weightbearing type of exercise like swimming or biking until you can walk without pain. You may need to raise the height of your bike seat if you are having diffuclty bending your knee too. Once you can walk short distances without pain, try walking on the treadmill again, without an…
